Michael Phelps, everyone says he is the GOAT in swimming right ? there is even a documental about his physique because it is so much better adapted to swim compared to his oppenents (shor legs, big feets, etc) All that just make him better and even a bigger LEGEND.

But, when we have a fighter like Jones, with a body perfect to fight, long limbs, height, etc. Suddenly this is no good, and its not fair. WTF ?!!!??!

Bones Jones physical avantages are just another reason why he is so great, he is skilled, he is athletic, and his body is perfect to fight. Just another reason why he is s great.

WHY HAVE A PERFECT BODY TO FIGHT IS IN SHERDOG A REASON TO DISCREDIT CHAMPIONS ???

Please explain that to me

As I've said before, Gus, Weidman and also Rockhold have tremendous size advantages yet their careers aren't discredited. It seems that only certain fighters in particular have their achievements discredited due to size reach or "explosiveness".

I don't get all you whiners...

Why do think it is a discredit to point out he has a reach advantage? It's just a fact.

This is a slippery slope to going down Jimmy The Greek territory.

Also, swimming doesn't have weightclasses. So it is not as if Phelps is cutting weight to take on smaller swimmers. That would be the difference. Not that hard to understand.

As long as you can make weight with no issues then the haters really have no clue of what they're talking about. Too big for a weight class, puh-lease. What does that even mean?

But Jones is lighter than DC. He's the lightest LHW in the top 5.

I wasn't aware the people complaining about Jones' physical gifts were complementing Phelps for his.

Good thing you're here TS

Notice a trend here, the US breeds top shelf physical specimens. USA! Superior DNA suckas.

Jones's physique doesn't give him quite as much advantage as people make out. They like to make out it's all because of his reach. If that were the case, all the champs and top contenders would be rangy, lanky fighters if it were such a game changing physical attribute but they're not. Being lanky has drawbacks too but Bones is just so good he gets around it.

Phelps has a physical advantage but look at all the other top swimmers. They havd somewhat similar builds just not quite as extreme.

Phelps would be hated if he snitched on people for smoking weed, rather than smoking weed.

Jones is a freak. His reach is the same as Lennox fucking Lewis, bigger than both he Klits. It isn't just the reach though. His balance and coordination, general athleticism are much greater than guys like Struve and such who get brought up as a counter example. When you combine that with his technical skills it makes an incredible fighting package. I see no reason to critisize him for it. Nobody ever says stuff like Hendo wouldn't even be good without his iron chin or that Crocop's high kick wouldn't be much if he had legs like Jon Jones instead of fucking logs.

He uses it in the grappling too. He leans on guys hard in the clinch and make them carry all his weight but his hips are still too far out for them to get in deep so they just can't do shit about it other than try to get out completely, which is often what he's waiting for.

Shaq is not good basketball player because he is too tall:) Not fair advanatage.

You would have a point if Jones didn't really belong in his weight class, if he cut extreme weight to take on smaller guys

But he doesn't

He's a totally natural LHW, he's be way, way lighter than his opponents if he fought at HW and there are literally guys at MW who enter the cage the same weight as him. So no, TS's analogy is exactly on the mark. Jones has great attributes for fighting, and that just makes him greater, it doesn't take anything away from him.
