While my opinion of Mike Perry isn't that high. MJW isn't trained to compete at the highest level. He's trained to show his moves in a controlled environment. The opposite of what fighting is. Style has to be full contact, that's why even a boxing style that disregards kicks can do well. Because it's tried and tested under pressure. Why do you think all those Kung Fu masters got exposed in China lately with MMA on the surge?
Kicking a bag or a pad non stop and never sparring is a good way to get knocked the fuck out by a random.

Either way he's 56 looking good for his age and winning at life. Why the fuck would you want to fight professionally or compete with these people at that age.

Yea but MJW doesnt claim his punch is more.powerful...he claims itll land more often and cant be detected as easily...which is what his drill.proves...


Take two guys MJW size...one guy punching telegraphed and with more power but can only land 1 or 2 strikes out of 10 ...cuz the rest or blcoked or anticpated and take the other as MJW who will liked landed 8 out of 10 strikes...at equal size the perceived power difference is small as power is a measure of speed ×mass...

Basically whats the use of punching harder if u cant land...MJW may need 3 shots to drop u but he has a better chance of landing those three then u do at his size landing 1 strike for the K.O
