I just googled it apparently Chuck Norris is a practitioner of it. It truly is the martial art for people who play fight on camera in the movies

Chuck has kick-boxing experience+ Tang Soo Do is a mix of Karate, Kung Fu and Taekkyon. This makes it a mix style and not to mention, when Chuck learned Tang Soo Do, he decided to add boxing techniques to it to give his own flavor. By the very definition, Tang Soo Do is a dynamic style that comes in many flavors. Sadly the Koreans were still very angry at the Japanese and they decided to rename it to Taekwondo and make it more sporty.

But in this video, Chuck talks about combining it with other arts to make it better. This makes it the precursor to MMA:

Last time I checked, MMA was really just the mixing and matching of different Martial Arts together. Michael Jai White is a black belt in multiple Martial Arts. I'd say that at least makes him a little bit knowledgeable on the subject.

Yea but MJW doesnt claim his punch is more.powerful...he claims itll land more often and cant be detected as easily...which is what his drill.proves...


Take two guys MJW size...one guy punching telegraphed and with more power but can only land 1 or 2 strikes out of 10 ...cuz the rest or blcoked or anticpated and take the other as MJW who will liked landed 8 out of 10 strikes...at equal size the perceived power difference is small as power is a measure of speed ×mass...

Basically whats the use of punching harder if u cant land...MJW may need 3 shots to drop u but he has a better chance of landing those three then u do at his size landing 1 strike for the K.O

michael jai white has never thrown a punch with the intention of debilitating his opponent. that's the problem with listening to him talk about himself and why he's so fuckin condescending. he can do his little demo because he doesn't ever need to back it up by actually hurting an opponent. ever. he doesn't put his "theories" into practice. ever. he play fights with real fighters and thinks he's winning the play fight as if it's a real fight.

imagine wonderboy mocking the technical skill of matt brown and talking down to him as if it's embarrassing to think they belong in a cage together. that's mjw but much worse.......

I think your newer to definitely boxing. What Conor said is tame compared to guys like Liston Dempsey jack johnson Ali. Tyson. Hagler Duran. Monzon
