If not who do you think takes it in their rematch?

Chandler gets it done this time.

I get the sense that chandler was training harder than ever to fight conor, He was going to come and show out. He's never been more motivated. he's had plenty of time off to recover.

If he wins, Hope he gets a shot at the LW title. Chandler is a fucking legend.
 
I'm hoping Do Bronx gets the finish once more. Chandler fucked up and he can finish his career trading wins and losses with the mid tier competition at LW.
 
Oli by KO, but I could definitely see him maybe getting a sub
I bet for the first time on this one too, not a lot tho lol
 
I have Charles Olivera winning again but not because of anything he did necessarily but rather something Chandler did.
 
Olivera by not being the guy with one foot out the door, at the very tail end of his career who has been sitting out for the better part of the last three years chasing a retirement fund…

This fight is stupid.
 
Going for Chandler though I have nothing against Charles. However, I have to favor Oliveira for a few reasons
  • More ways to win. Either guy could KO the other standing. However, Chandler's chin is worse. Oliveira gets rocked a lot but rarely finished. On the ground, Oliveira could definitely get a sub. I don't think Chandler has the cardio these days to win a LnP type wrestling match. The last time he did that was against Primus in 2018. And Oliveira is better and more dangerous than Primus. Even in Chandler's prime, holding down down Oliveira 3 rounds without getting subbed would be a challenge. Ask Arman. Or Will Brooks, the guy Chandler couldn't beat in Bellator who was subbed by Oliveira.
  • Long layoff for Chandler
  • Chandler is older
Interestingly, Chandler hasn't won by a decision in the UFC. His last was the Primus fight. Oliveira rarely wins by decision either. Besides Tony (who really should've tapped) in 2020, his last decision win was in 2014. This is very unlikely to go 3 rounds IMO.
 
Charles wins.
Chandler starts off with dangerous power but once he gets through the first few minutes settles into spamming the same 3 moves and becomes predictable.
 
For all the waiting Chandler has done he has to be itching to take it out on someone. Yet I'm still expecting Charles to win it.
 
Charles wins, which would finally and conclusively prove the point that sitting on a couch for multiple years in a row is in fact NOT the best base for MMA.
 
Oliveira gonna win, Chandler has been on the sidelines waiting for the Conor fight that never came. All that ring rust and age won't be good
 
Both guys have big defensive holes they will never fix, but I still favor Charles to win again.
 
Its toss-up for me but have Olives with slight advantage since he brings more ways to finish to finish

Charles has good striking now so he’s dangerous from distance being the taller man. He throws knees up the middle, flying knees, and elbows from clinch. And he is always eyeing a limb or throat to snatch

Mikey has big power mainly with his fists and always has the wrestling to dictate where he wants the fight to take place shall his IQ let him. He’s not really big knee/elbow guy with subs from every direction
