Mexicans are going to takeover the UFC

Aztec Jaguar Warrios where fearsome. Those obsidian(volcanic glass) weapons where sharp ass hell. They actually cut better than swords. Mexico has a very strong military history. They kicked the Spaniards ass until old world diseases started to spread and decimated populations.

Yeah all considered. I just look at some people I've met irl and phenotypically I can't distinguish them from people (their ancestor countries) I've seen in Europe. I mean I'm kinda skeptical when they emphasize one side, the native side hard when appearance wise I'm like....okay whatever....lol. But it's understandable.

A good American example might be Dana Loesch the NRA spokeslady. She's got quite a bit of native ancestry but also Western European and if she didn't tell anybody I don't know if people would ask.
Thats actually common in many latin american countries, some people clinge to an "native anscestry" that doesn't exist or if it does its pretty far. Its cultural something like the hillbilly tale of my great grandmother was a cheroke princess, but native culture influenced this countries far greater than the usa on average so people are gonna fell more atracted to "its folclore"

It’s not about not noticing differences it’s about identity. The reason race is such a divisive topic in America is because you cannot point to any person in the street and say “we are the same people”. In other countries you can do that quite easily.
Yes its called ethnicity

Mexico started first becoming biracial 500 years ago and not really full on mixing all over the place until like 200 years ago. Mexicans have strong connection to Native roots. You see its influence everywhere, even in common stuff like Tacos, corn, and Chilli for example which where Native foods.

Fun fact: All Chilli originiates from Mexico. Doesnt matter what part of the world thai chilli, indian, korean spicy sauce, Southern hot sauce etc. They all got those Chillis from Mexico. The Mexican Natives bred it to become spicier lol

This has become a sidetrack lol. But to comment on this I agree to an extent. Race is an illusion in the sense that we identify with people we are familiar with seeing and recognizing as "X" type and who speak English and "behave American". Truth is if we weren't conditioned since childhood to see, say, white Americans as all the same (*Chris Tucker voice* "All ya'll look alike!") we would more easily be able to distinguish people from different regions of Europe, North Africa, and Asia Minor, middle east, etc. all the people who check the "white" mark on paper forms.

Yep, a lot of things in mexican culture are of native origin especially food.

I told my mom that chilli peppers didn't come from India like she always believed they came from Mexico a couple hundred years ago she didn't believe me for years lol.

You got Moreno and Yair. Who else is there in the lower weight classes??

That thing does not cut better than a katana, I can tell you that. And honestly there's no proof that indigenous blood is the reason for boxing success. There's many other countries with higher indigenous population and they don't have many successful boxers. And even in Mexico it's not like it's a bunch of indigenous Mexicans who look like this running boxing

Was t that supposed to happen with the Japanese as well??

India has a history of good spices and trade but they didnt have the strong spicy kick in there food until they got there hands on Mexican chillies. And there rest is histocurry lol.

Japanese are a strange case, they have all the pieces, the martial arts history, they literally invented Jujitsu and key submissions. But for some reason dont support it. Koreans interestingly are doing better in mma these days. They have more fighters in UFC.

Obsidian is extremely sharp but yea Katanas are sharper (most swords arent sharper than obsidian though). Majority of Mexicans have strong native ancestry. So im sure it plays a part (those thick skulls they got notably are probably good for absorbing punches) Mexico actually has one of the highest populations numbers with Native ancestry so not sure what your talking about ..

Mexico actually had the most notable and most sophisticated of the Native Cultures. They are not comparable to other Native groups. But nice try lol
