Dude....Juan just emailed me about Pacheco. The glove I sent back to fix the lining didn't even get fixed properly. I'm waiting for pictures and a clarification but I shipped the gloves to Juan, who then shipped it to Pacheco. He didn't even glue the liners back to the glove. Not sure what he even did to it but Juan is pissed and I'm freaking livid!

:( Sorry to hear that. Sounds like Pacheco has gone insane.

Btw Juan has one pair of white 16oz JC's before the insanity happened if you guys want to buy one.

If any JC's of mine breaks, I'm using duct tape.

I already lost the custom cheek protector headgear and groin belt in the mail when Mexipost handed it off to USPS:( Juan is amazing though and is replacing the said items for me.

I am glad I didn't send my gloves back to get repainted; also, they are just bag gloves now, so it wouldn't of been worth it.
 
I'll try to find the pictures of how bad the lining ripped. It was so bad that they were un usable if I didn't send them back. Also my white paint is rubbing off and developing creases. I'm so dissatisfied but i can't blame Juan. he did a lot to help me.
 
What do you think caused the insanity? Demonic Posession?:O

He probably just got busier than he wanted too and just rushed to finish the gloves.

My understanding of the situation after talking to Juan was that he just didn't want to change his gloves and started skimping on his quality and using cheaper materials.

Helluva slippery slope that one, and one which many manufacturers fall down. Zero sympathy for JC Pacheco here, it beggars belief someone could be sitting on a goldmine yet choose to try and rip off his customers rather than stay honest.

Sorry to hear about your issues though Clamp, really sucks you got caught up with a man who's lost his way.
 
Yeah I'm tired of being pissed at him. I'm glad that Juan cut ties with him because I'm not the only one who got burned. The poor guy is getting it from all sides with shoddy construction and it's cost him an arm and a leg to send back. The crappy part is that he sent the gloves to get fixed with his own money and they came back half assed.
 
Change of Topic, here is the groin belt in detail. Had to relace them to fit me. This was old Pacheco stock so it's the good stuff. Foam is hard, just like the gloves.

Just sparring so I don't have to take my pants off to put on my cup. I'm lazy like that. I'm also going to visit boxing gyms when I travel so I don't want to look like a noob if I have to spar.

The waistband is 1" from my navel.
 
I always wanted a pair of Casanova's to go with my now deceased headgear but I couldn't pull the trigger because the unattached thumb.
 
ah-ha but now u can pull the trigger because those have attached thumbs! and then you can review it hurray :)

what was the deceased headguard like? awesome?
 
the casanova headgear fit me like a dream. like it was made for me.
