It's a redundant thing you're attempting since I've never believed or pretended a trans woman is an ACTUAL woman, only that an ACTUAL trans woman who poses no danger and just wants to live in the style of a woman could be offered common courtesy.
This isn't a real trans woman. It's a perverted man who rapes girls who thinks he's got some advantage by putting a frock on and having a shave.

I know intelligence isn’t a strong suit here but if you can’t determine he was a male during the crimes he committed ( which is why he’s being charged as male ) I don’t know what to tell you as your asking a dumbed down question not really relevant.

I never expected that kind of thing, when you look at it, there is only two genders, and so be it. I know a group of transexuals, and they are like a tiny sect, since they are rejected everywhere, they made their own community in Europe. Half of them are depressed suicidal men, who are likely to commit suicide, the other half, are fervent zealot fierce transexuals, who believe that changing their gender was the won crusade of the 21 st century. Yes a trans should be treated with courtesy and long as they treat real women with common courtesy by not invading their spaces.
What is the requirements to be a "real" trans women? Then we all know what the standards are.

Someone who doesn’t change their identity the days after they are being charged with rape crimes would be a clue ? At least for most normal people this would be obvious.

Of course I know he is not a woman by the fact he has male genitals ( going by the story) and a DNA or even an xray will prove it.
However the left can't tell you what a woman is. Give us your definition of a woman you have to have a definition to disqualify it as a woman.

You are getting awfully close to "that wasnt real communism" there bud. When someone says they are trans you cant say they are not real trans because you disagree with their actions, and if you let a doctor "examine" him, he will probably say that he is transgender, since that is the "right" thing to do nowadays when people say they are the opposite gender.
That being said, people do game the system, specially in the more liberal countries. But in all seriousness, guy is obviously mentally ill so him thinking he also is a women isnt that far fetched, no matter how heinous his crime is.

What if he decided to “change his gender” the day before he committed the assault? Surely then you would have to recognize that he was a woman when he committed the offence right?

I absolutely can say that, and there are plenty of easy rules one could create to prevent creeps like this guy trying to pull a fast one.
But as I say, he'll gain nothing except I guess some attention.

I hear you, and I have always advocated respect for the innocuous people that experience the world as the opposite sex and find a comfortable life in living as the opposite sex.
The thing I have come to realize is, the modern version of what a trans person is has taken a very different shape and is multiple different things. It's pretty well recognized now in the trans community that a high portion of these people are not really the person you describe here- they are either transvestites who find sexual pleasure in this lifestyle (rather than having real gender dysphoria or confusion), autistics that have latched onto the idea of being trans, or people who are gender non-conforming and find social acceptance with peer groups by claiming trans (or often non-binary). Transvestic disorder often starts when children are young like nine or 10, so that's commonly misinterpreted as transgender because the kids like or get a charge out of dressing like a woman even at that time and will manipulate a situation to where they can do that (they are hearing "trans" in school and all over the place, so they have an idea what they can manipulate).
While the innocuous trans person certainly exists, the rate of sexual offending among the trans population is quite high. 50-75% of federal and state inmates that are trans in the US are sex offenders (either registered or incarcerated for the crimes), while only about 20% of the general population in prisons are sex offenders. I've read that this is also true on your side of the pond, not just the US.
That's a lot of why I really question opening female spaces to trans. If they all were innocuous like the ones you describe it would be less of a problem; I wish it were a situation where I could support them in female spaces, but I don't think it is advisable given the larger context of the trans situation.
The prison situation has become a total disaster, and I worked in a women's prison that had trans- I can confirm it is horrible.
