I still believe its manufactured friendship, like when Hasbulla was everywhere with UFC fighters, i saw a video of him and Volkanovski where i trully said, WTF is wrong with Volk...Hasbulla takes a hamburger and smashes it into Volk´s face, i mean...they are not trully friends, its just clout, in this case its two guys from the same country that run into each other a lot cause they attend the events for the promotion they both fight for, as most people do, they try to relate with people similar to them, in this case their countrymen.

Honestly his showboating seems to be more him having fun. I thought it was great. Plus the psychological damage is substantial. You can't really do anything in retaliation if your confidence is shot.

He was completely overlooked, was told by everyone he was ducking umar and had no path to beat him.

He was a 3-1 underdog as the champion with a DOMINANT win streak.

Him saying Umar didn't deserve it is completely justifiable if you count how much merab had to do just to be in the discussion.

I’m not even a Merab fan… at all. But he deserves to wild out even more after all the disrespect towards him prior to the fight. From day 1 after beating Sean it’s been a foregone conclusion that he was ducking, scared and keeping the belt warm for Umar.
