I loved that show!
I just saw Mark Curry do a standup set, he was touring with Katt Williams and he was funny as hell.

the artist has underwear
I'm black and grew up in a predominantly black neighborhood. I watched Family Matters, Martin, Fresh Prince and Jamie Foxx Show during my childhood.
Off the top of my head, I also watched Hangin' With Mr. Cooper, The Parent 'Hood, Kenan & Kel, Cousin Skeeter, My Brother & Me (most people won't know this Nickelodeon show with a predominantly black cast, though), In The House (sometimes), Moesha (sometimes), The Wayans Bros., Static Shock and Waynehead.
Any black kid growing up in the 90s saw most, if not, all the shows I listed at least once. The thought of "I'm not being represented, help!" never once crossed my mind as a kid.
And I watched DBZ, Pokemon, Batman TAS, Spider-Man TAS, X-Men TAS, Doug, Rugrats, etc. and never once thought "damn, if only these shows had more black people, my life would somehow be better".
Roseanne Barr doesn't count *rimshot*Well, for normal men with a healthy amount of testosterone, "right-wing" comedy hits more often than not.
That list was just off the dome. I watched Malcolm & Eddie. Didn't watch A Different World (a little bit before me).Malcom n Eddie? A Different World?

Sister Sister
Smart Guy
That's So Raven
Steve Harvey Show (looking back it's weird to think he was probably wearing a wig back then)
The PJs
The Parkers (just listing, I didn't watch that shit)
The Proud Family
Out of all of that, Martin & Fresh Prince are the top two, without a doubt
Yes, it's real, you should know by now.
