But your point sucks. The whole reason we moved away from tribes where there was practically no governance, to villages where there is more governance, to cities, city-states, and nation-states, where there is even more governance is because there is some inherent weakness in ungoverned tribal life. Case in point is the Africans who got enslaved, they were all ungoverned, vulnerable people. It makes more sense to have government and have it be limited to certain functions that are good for the people, but can't be done by markets or at the very least can't be done well by the markets.
