Oh boy, this might take awhile.
-So there was a No Kings protest in Salt Lake City last month.
-An organization called 50-50-1 provided volunteer "peacekeepers" and they were specifically told not to be armed.
- One of them (Matt Alder) sees a masked individual (Arthur Gamboa) openly carrying an AR15 and immediately pulls out a pistol and opens fire on him. A stray round hits and kills another protester (Afa Ah Loo).
-Alder tells the cops that Gamboa was running towards a group of protesters with his rifle aimed at them. Dumbass cops take his word for it and immediately arrest Gamboa and charge him with felony murder. He's labeled as a "domestic terrorist" and "potential mass shooter."
-Video comes out showng that Gamboa was walking with the rifle pointed at the ground and didn't even have a magazine loaded. The same video shows Alder immediately opening fire on him.
-Gamboa has a history of openly carrying long guns as a supporting protester with the footprint on social media to prove it. He's the furthest thing from some right wing MAGA goof.
-Openly carrying a long gun in Utah is 100% legal.
-Gamboa is finally released and the charges are dropped after he was held twice as long as he legally should've been. Alder hasn't even been arrested yet and the only reason his name came out is because some 4chan autists found him. It's like public officials are protecting him yet they were so quick to throw Gamboa under the bus who broke no laws.

I just don't understand why he hasn't been arrested yet for obstruction, aggravated assault, and some form of manslaughter. It's been well over a month now.

Damn that's insane and I either missed that story somehow or at best came across a vague headline about a potential shooting stopped. Damn.
