Funny meme, but just for the sake of clarity.

5.56mm was chosen specifically by NATO, not to be more humanitarian, but to assist a battlefield tactic.

By 'only' wounding an enemy combatant instead of killing them like the Soviet 7.62mm would do, NATO forces would have a chance to capture and interrogate the enemy for information. This has proved especially useful against Islamism over the past 30 years.

A secondary benefit, would be the concept removing more than one combatant with a single shot. A 7.62mm wikl hit, kill, and remove at maximum one allied fighter per bullet (outside of freak one in a million trick shot that has the optimal bullet path and bullet power to travel through multiple people). Whereas a 5.56mm can drop an enemy combatant with each bullet, and also delay or distract a second or third combatant who either tries to help their wounded friend, or has to stay focused whilst their friend is crying out in pain.

Not a big fan or most CTs, but this one and the Dianna one I'm all in on. He looks nothing like his 'father', who was a well known cuckold, whilst benefiting from Fidel's handsome looks and firm voice.
