McGregor vs. prime Guillard

Hardly. Finishing a fight > running from a fight. The new rules have been created to stop the tactics used by coward mcgregor.

So you're not allowed to slip punches and drop your opponent numerous times in one round any more?

Conor beat Fiaz in the second fight. Not arguing it was as decisive as Nate's humiliation of Conor, turning him into a panic wrestler and making him tap. But it was a win to Conor when both men were fully prepared.

with the right game plan Melvin could ground and pound his way to a TKO
it would have been a great fight

Lol you've never seen a Guillard fight.

Also if Mendes and Eddie couldn't wrestle and GnP TKO Conor then no fucking way Melvin would. He would rush in and get his class chin shattered with a counter.

Of course you are.

You're just not allowed to run away looking at the clock, praying for it to be over for the next three rounds.

McGregor's jaw is iron, Guillards jaw was made of paper. But yeah a clean punch from Guillard would make everyone from 125 to 185 stutter step. Dude was just born with God given knockout power.

McGregor's jaw is iron?

You talking about the Conor that got rocked and forced to panic wrestle by Nate freakin Diaz?
lol

Guillard is a legit threat for anyone standing and because I don't see Conor taking this to the ground Guillard has a legit shot at winning.

Conor would knock him out

A clean punch like the one Nate landed on Conor can hurt anyone. Not to mention Conor was already tired and was panicking.

Shots Conor has taken
+An overhand right from Chad that put Elkins to sleep
+A right hand from Aldo
+a couple of clean combinations from Nate in both fights
+a big right hand from Eddie that was partially slipped
+an couple of clean shots from Brimage, Siver, Poirier, etc.

And you wanna know something? Only one of those punches ever seriously hurt him.

Conor's ground game is better. His striking is better. His chin is better. Guillard has the power to get the KO but I don't see his odds mounting up to much more than a puncher's chance
