News McGregor violates anti doping policy, eligible to fight March 2026.

The UFC is a circus and this half assed testing is an act. Bravo on enforcing at least some kind of rules, I guess?

Still a joke.

This works out great for everyone.

UFC can claim their testing is real because they targeted a "big fish", but can still get Conor for the big card. Conor can say this is a turn around and will work harder and such. Win/Win

IDGAF as long as he fights on the White House event.

This is like putting someone on paid leave. You did something wrong and you're punishment is to be paid not to work! Meaningless and quite convenient that it was retroactively enforced, so that he'd be off suspension just in time to start training for the WH card in June. I guess Dana will continue to look us in the eye and say that he trusts conman, aka spit in our face and tell us it's raining.
He also had his suspension reduced by 6 months from the standard 24 month for his offense. The length of the suspension was reduced because of Mcgregor's "cooperation"...which is bullshit because he received his suspension for NOT cooperating with the anti-doping agency in the first place. What a fucking joke.

Sounds like a nothing burger. He wasn’t going to fight before March anyway.
Well, that's what makes his reduction for "cooperation" relevant. He normally would have been out for the needed training window for the talked-about White House event, I think. For instance, I doubt he'd be able to be in the needed testing window in advance of competition, if still under suspension.

I'm not sure how making excuses after missing three tests merits a reduction in suspension.

Mysteriously failed to provide a test one day before he pulled out from UFC 303.
Yea, it makes you wonder if he didn't fail a drug test.

What's crazy is that the NSAC allows this illegal situation to continue -- with the UFC & their drug testing vendors not publicly disclosing drug test results immediately. The NSAC has a statutory responsibility to test all MMA fighters in their jurisdiction for drugs, and to publicly report those findings. They have deferred their drug testing to UFC 3rd party drug testing, which is allowed -- but it still requires those 3rd party testers to report results immediately to the NSAC and then the NSAC to immediately publicly disclose those results.

Dana must be bribing the NSAC a hell of a lot of money for the situation he has going on.

Imagine if a cop tries to pull you over and you just accelerate and get the hell away instead. Then you crash your vehicle while speeding and the cops are like ”oh thanks for cooperating and pulling over, bud”

Conor is innocent of whatever he did now

Seriously, Fook This Guy. Sucks tthat the UFC's two biggest (only?) stars turned out to be degenerate cokehead criminal absolute fucking narcissists. Perfect for a modern Whitehouse card though and his suspension is up just in time LOL...
Maybe there is a reason why the big stars are that way. Are those the people we like? Or does fighting for our affection cause people to turn?

what a schmuck he is. and i predict he's going to wind up looking like he's 50 years old in the fight on top of it. which as a hater is going to be fun to watch.

I think the rules are being enforced because they want Conor under contract. They don't want to allow him to go fight in BKFC or any other organization. That's my guess.

This is a chance for the UFC to say "See? No one gets a free pass with our drug testing system, not even Conor." But in reality, they want to run out the clock on Conor's career, so he can't fight anywhere else.

100% correct of course

Poatan
Aspinall
Topuria
Islam
Holloway
Yan

Etc etc

These are the kind of guys should be on a big showcase fight

I think like 90% of the going at Dana is a bit cringe on here and doesn't make sense in a lot of cases

But "this is the guy" for the Whitehouse card? <puhlease>
C'mon, a card that is put together to glorify Trump and Dana would have nothing to do with which athletes are most deserving of the spotlight on merit as athletes. Being the most obnoxious clown/asshole possible, as long as they kiss the Orange Ass' ass, is the overriding, primary qualification.

GSP wasn't like that. Fedor wasn't like that. The Spider wasn't like that...Chuck, well maybe a little LOL but he never raped or assaulted anyone. Jon and Conor are not people we should like.
