News McGregor violates anti doping policy, eligible to fight March 2026.

Suspending a retired fighter... only long enough so his alleged return date isnt affected.

Imagine having to write in to the company where you are going every time you leave the house.

We get it, we don't want guys skipping tests and you don't tell them when you are coming, but this is pretty much a joke.

Bullshit aside.
It just means this guy is out another year of fighting and is getting further away from an appropriate age for fighting

So again why do we waste energy as a community who values fighting over a guy who won’t/can’t fight anymore?
It says he's suspended until March 26, he wasn't going to fight until the White House card anyway and it's probably a retirement fight.

Official Announcement: White House to Host Conor McGregor for Special UFC Showcase

After years of dodging bans, headlines, and the occasional courtroom appearance, Conor McGregor is finally stepping into the only octagon big enough for his résumé , the White House lawn.

Officials say McGregor was chosen for his “unique experience dealing with authority figures and elderly opponents,” referencing both his legendary bar scuffle and his new training partner, the Commander-in-Chief himself.

When asked about his many public “exposures,” McGregor assured reporters he plans to “keep everything covered this time ,except the truth.”

The event is being promoted as “UFC 2025: Integrity vs. Entertainment,” sponsored by Legal Counsel, PR Damage Control, and a generous donation from the Department of Selective Memory.

This is like putting someone on paid leave. You did something wrong and you're punishment is to be paid not to work! Meaningless and quite convenient that it was retroactively enforced, so that he'd be off suspension just in time to start training for the WH card in June. I guess Dana will continue to look us in the eye and say that he trusts conman, aka spit in our face and tell us it's raining.

In the unlikely event that Conor McGregor has anything to do with the White House card, the first iteration of the news is going to be that he'll headline in an MMA fight against Jake Paul, the next iteration will be a featured WWE "fight" against Logan Paul, and it'll end up being Conor starring in a very special episode of RuPaul's Drag Race to air on Paramount+ right after the card finishes.

Conor McGregor received an 18-month suspension from the UFC anti-doping program Combat Sports Anti-Doping (CSAD) on Tuesday.

His suspension is retroactive to Sept. 20, 2024, and will end on March 20, 2026, a little more than three months before the UFC's White House fight card that President Donald Trump announced would take place on his birthday, June 14. McGregor has been campaigning heavily to be included on the card, which would be his first fight in nearly five years.

CSAD, the in-house agency that runs the UFC's anti-doping program, announced the suspension was for three "whereabout failures" in which McGregor missed tests on June 13, Sept. 19 and Sept. 20, 2024, and did not provide accurate information regarding his location.

"McGregor missed three attempted biological sample collections within a 12-month period in 2024, which constitutes a violation of the UFC ADP," reads a CSAD news release on the UFC's website. "UFC athletes are required to provide accurate whereabouts information at all times, so they can be contacted and submit to biological sample collections without prior warning. McGregor's missed tests occurred on June 13, September 19, and September 20, 2024, and were each classified as Whereabouts Failures by CSAD under the UFC ADP."
