*** 'McGregor Forever' - Netflix Documentary Discussion Mega Thread ***

Get some friends. in the real world.

We call that projection in psychology. Classic case that illustrates my point perfectly.

Conor's fans are the ones who were bullied in childhood and thus desperate to be "the man" in adulthood because of their unresolved emotional issues.

But since they can't achieve that or anything close on their own merit, they have to live vicariously through someone who can basically accomplish that with his own talents.

Is it a coincidence that Conor's fanbase has gotten increasingly more quiet as Conor's reputation has gradually degraded over time?

It's not.

Aren't you the same mfer who was bragging about Conor's money in another thread? <45><45><Lmaoo><Lmaoo>
Conor made The highest purse in MMA history the night he fought Khabib.

You were laughing at home, probably using a mob scooter to move around.

There are levels to this shit.

Sounds like you got everyone figured out.

You don't have to convince me of anything.

I have simple things figured out, yes.

I'm not here to convince you of something obvious, just like I'm not interested in convincing you that two plus two equals four.

The relationship I described is completely obvious and straightforward to anyone paying attention while being objective.

Keep telling yourself that.

You sound like a arrogant goofball to me.

I will, thanks.

Two plus two equals four, and Conor's fanbase is mostly composed of life losers who live vicariously through Conor because of their personal lack of happiness/status/success in regular life.

Simple.

McGregor was going to gas or quit when he ran into adversity. It was only a matter of time before Khabib got the finish despite blatant serial cheating by McGregor. The odds of McGregor ever beating Khabib were infinitesimally small, just a hair above zero.

I disagree. He had a punchers chance.

Alot of people can't accept the fact that Khabib retired. It just seemed too early.
its rare in these times that someone actually follows through on what they have said. even moreso in combat sports - how many have gone on too long and taken hard losses they shouldnt have? Khabib committed himself to his plan and so far has followed through with it. is it too early for us, the fans? fuck yeah, i wanted to see how far he could go. i think he couldve easily made 3-4 more defenses. but only one man can decide when Khabib is done, and thats Khabib himself.

I’m legit curious how many many actually hate Conor and how many post stuff about him to fit in or to get likes.

Conor acting like he wants that smoke again after Khabib retired, is the same energy as Jones saying Ngannou's name now that he's tied up in a PFL contract and they can't fight, after ducking him for 3 years of his prime.

At the end of the day, khabib was too afraid of losing.

retired in his prime and never really cemented his legacy as one of the best.

If he had defended a few more times and moved up for another title, he might be spoken about in the same reverence as a fedor or even anderson silva. Sadly no.
