McGregor & Dana White Relationship Unprofessional?

It is a private company. They can play favorites however they see fit. Welcome to the world of business: you make your boss happy, he (may) do the same in return. You piss him off or do a shitty job, you`re fucked. Nothing unprofessional about that.

Could it be that Dana is actually friends with people? What the fuck?

I know that's a joke but that would seriously surprise me....

Here's a question: what if the fight is a disputed decision in conors favor? I know that zuffa wouldn't fix fights, but people not on sherdog forums don't know that

And didn't he fly out McGregors whole team and put them in a suite? That would piss me off If I was Poirier

I've gotten trashed with my bosses before.

it would only become an issue if say conor were to get a title shot ahead of another guy, say cub if he beats frankie or something like that

I don't like favoritism. With Liddell it was diff. because he had a history of being his manager but this favoritism for Conor cheapens the sport. Esp. compared to other individual sports where you have to win your way to the top.

Dana just basking in the glory of the next big thing.

The mafia goombah's look so happy and Brock is like "fuck, I wish I was back in Minnesota.

There are some people you hang out with and have good chemistry. The GOAT still has to fight so it's not bad but if they become good friends it could. Once they throw a top wrestler his way then we'll know for sure if it's business or buddy system friendship. :icon_lol: The GOAT is really serious about MMA and Dana is a fan as well as the main guy so it works in a sense. Who could miss Hunt vs Roy?, battle of the behemoths.

It's not the normal boss/employee relationship. Conor is the talent, he's the one bringing in the $. It's important to keep the talent happy.

The kid promotes himself well and has ultimate confidence. I don't know how you see this as unprofessional, fighters should take note of how McGregor is handling his career and handling the media.

He's on his way up no matter what, and the UFC sees the kind of draw he is.

People should be HAPPY, he's what MMA has been needing. Complain about losing stars, then complain about Conor being a star.

Abso-fucking-luely this. Haters gonna hate.

I think he's picking them up and is like 'oh shit danas fat as fcuk take the pic already'.

IMO.

Part of managements job is to knob slob the revenue generators and keep them happy. It's in the by laws. Learn it.

DFW does whatever the fuck he wants. And that'll be his demise.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
