Good deal if true
I might buy one
Getting a steel sports rolex is insane nowadays. I’d love a gmt batman on a jubilee bracelet but I’d never pay these ridiculous prices.I have a friend of a friend that's an authorized dealer and was able to get it a few years ago at retail price. I couldn't believe what they've done in price over the last 5 years or so.
What's a grinder?
It's fugly, not ugly. It's not the best looking watch I've ever seen but I wouldn't call it ugly.
How much is it? Think I got enough here or is more than 20k?You can't afford it either, pipsqueak. Quit squawking about things you know nothing about.
What a surprisingly poor adviceProtip for suredawggers: don't ever shell out money for an expensive watch unless you have the money for it or it is a gift, nobody cares about them nowadays
Get a nice silver or gold-filled chain, or shit, even a gold-plated chain (depending on your complexion) if you actually want girls to look at/notice you. Hell, even a bracelet is better than a watch in this day and age.

Have you tried the Tudor black bay gmt? It’s a nice and tough as nails watch under $5000. I had one for a couple of years and It was a damn good watch. Longines is a good entry level luxury brand, good choice if you don’t want to spend too much.I've been thinking about getting a Longines Zulu Time for a GMT. The Daytona is only 5-figure piece I'll ever own.

Money can’t buy taste. Never could, never will. if that heap of shit cost more than 2k, it’s overpriced. Anybody who spends top dollar on a luxury timepiece and gets a jacobs is a certified clown. Especially one that ugly.
Kind of how dumb rappers devalue their watches by “busting them down”, this is a gaudy piece of garbage.

Not mad. But notice how all the other things you listed have a utility, or benefit they bring to the consumer? Whereas the watch serves zero purpose? Well it does have a purpose, which I already detailed. It's "peacocking" at it's more pure. "Just please look at my watch and tell me it's cool, and understand that I do in fact have a lot of money."
Cars, computers, phones, shades all serve a purpose. And even a necklace or whatnot I can get behind. They at least have been around for ages and are used as a piece of fashion. Giant ugly ass watches don't look good, compared to a nice chain. The fact that Rolex has become synonymous with "expensive watch" tells one a lot. You see a Rolex, you know that guy spent several thousand dollars. Why? Because he wants to simply tell you he spent several thousand dollars. That's the only purpose.
Let me get this straight...the watch Conor wears or promotes for some company that we see is definitely ugly. However, it does serve a purpose other than costing thousands...it keeps time. I went to college to get a mechanical engineering degree. I can appreciate the time/effort someone took to build a watch if you look at the inside, regardless of the time it keeps.
