McGregor cheated at least 19 times against Khabib; Herb Dean should be fired.

Not that I'm aware of.

So cheating doesn't matter so long as the cheater ends up losing? That's absurd logic even for Sherdog.
how does it matter if they still lose? It's absurd to think it does. He still lost just the same as he would have if he didn't cheat so it made no difference and doesn't matter.

Yeah he fought dirty as even my GF picked up on that shit during the fight.

Dunno bout the first elbow though that could go either way, I'll give that one to connor, he needs it.

Cause your setting a bad precedent. Refs aren't getting called out for their poor job, then more fighters may be more inclined to cheat in the future.

When you realise his wrestling + grappling aren't Zero and need to cheat to take him down

This ^^^ is your example of cheating? Don't look now but your whitebelt is showing...

grabbing fence with foot is the most retarded rule ever.

Not when you're trying to turn a guy and you can't figure out why he's not flipping over, it don't take much to turn a fight man.

Okay that's fair. I guess you are right while it didn't matter in that fight it could have an impact on future fights.

It's the same reason I hated what Yamasaki did to Chiesa in the Lee fight; I think Chiesa was going to lose regardless of what Yamasaki did, but stopping a bout before a fighter taps to a choke sets a precedent that opens up MMA to corruption.

I try not to put much stock into conspiracy theories, but Herb not deducting a single point can't be chalked up to mere incompetence. Then you get McGregor fans rushing this thread trying to spin things like I'm some colossal McGregor hater, when in reality I'm just disturbed by the fact that no media outlet is questioning the highly suspicious officiating.

I don't know I think they talked about Conor cheating a lot on TV. I am no Conor fan by the way. I was mad at the time because it could have made a difference.

I guess you could make the argument that it might have contributed to Khabib being mad enough to jump over the cage. So I guess it could have had a direct impact on that.

For all of 2013 <45>:

Historically, McGregor has been quite a dirty fighter.

Need a ref who has balls to punish him, it baffles me how he gets away with shit like this.

If Herb had taken a point, I guarantee the media outlets would've talked about it, and who knows if McGregor would've committed over ten other fouls throughout the fight.

Nurmagomedov even talked to Herb about all the fouls in between rounds, asking him why he didn't take a point, so it was clearly (and understandably) upsetting him.

Assuming that Conor has fought clean up to this point, what are the chances that he's now tempted to go the Jon Jones route?

I mean 1) he obviously has zero qualms about cheating 2) he just realised that he has nothing for khabib

Only thing holding him back might be fear of getting busted.

They wanted Conor to get ragdolled and come out with both his eyes shut, covered in blood and his face changed. But Conor actually gave khabib a challenge with the wrestling in the first round, 3rd round, came out with minimal damage after 2 years out of the cage.

I actually feel bad for this poor kid.

It's always facinating seeing how a completely dug in fan boy handles being letdown. As you can see, this poor guy is taking it as bad as one can.

Let him carry on and tell himself whatever it takes.

lol. isn't this fight over.

reminds me of people still bitching about Hillary Clinton.
