More just concerned with your conclusion. Of course false accusations happen a lot. But, so do REAL accusations, based on REAL offenses.
Regardless of which this is, hopefully justice will be served to the party that is in the wrong.

The problem with society today is that we've lost touch with important ideals. It's better to let 10 guilty men go free, than to let 1 innocent man go to prison. That is a fact and it must be a core value in every person, but it's not.

And that is the reason why we must not believe accusers until their accusations are proven in a criminal court. It may sound harsh, but that's how it has to be. Otherwise I can promise you that too many innocent people will end up in prison.

There's always the court of public perception though, and even as someone who has worked closely with being inside of and testifying on many criminal cases, the courts are flawed.

For example, it was pretty much a punchline how much everyone knew OJ was guilty despite not being found so in court. His guilt was practically pop culture. I don't think that's solely on account of everyone just being bad people with terrible personal philosophies.

Sadly ppl don't educate themselves or understand how a criminal conviction works. It's very rare to get a criminal conviction in a rape case because you have to be able to prove with 100% certainty that the person raped you. Often ppl have evidence they were raped but proving it was a particular person isn't easy. 3% of rape cases actually end in convictions which is insane. Most go the civil route because of this. But unfortunately, you have ppl that don't understand this and automatically jump to the conclusion that she's after money and is a liar with no case because she couldn't get a criminal conviction
