Some of yall shitting on Mayhem but his choice of words were great even if you think he's not the one that should extend his hand. Imagine if one of YOUR loved ones were going through this. Nick Diaz army, family, friends needs to help him. He's lost and needs critical guidance.

If you take a look at his social media, Mayhem has been sober for over a year and seems to have cleaned up his life and turned over a new leaf. He looks and sounds like he is doing really well. The idea here is that if Mayhem can do it, anyone can do it, and he has experience recovering from a life of drugs, alcohol and crime. He might be able to offer great advice and support that could help out a fellow fighter that may be stuck in the same rut he once was.

For all the criticism of Mayhem here, he seems to have straightened up his act. I've seen him on a few podcasts and interviews and he seems like his old, zany but sober self. I don't have any reason to think he's still abusing drugs unless he ends up in jail again or does something crazy.

It sounds like a good faith offer. He's not trying to be Nick's therapist or priest or anything--just offer him some help and maybe advice on how he straightened his life out.
