Difference between being currently located in HI (Hawaii) and saying im "High" idiot. I'm not ridiculing pot use, I've done my fair share of it. I'm just stating if its your profession and passing drug test is part of it then abide by it so you don't lose your job.

It's already been stated but this is all about a kid who has no accountability. In the real world if you fail a drug test you can lose your job. The only difference is that in the real world you don't always know exactly when you will be tested several months in advance. I feel bad for anyone who loses their job, but no one is responsible for this except Riddle.

By that definition of addiction every overweight person who can't stop eating crap is "addicted" to food. When people say cannabis is not addictive they are talking about physiological addiction, with serious withdrawal symptoms, like alcohol or opiate withdrawal, not a lack of will power. Cannabis is not physically addictive, unlike the pharma drugs that people take for pain, sleep, anxiety, and depression. People can abuse cannabis, but you can take it away from a long time abuser and they are not going to suffer for it beyond them having a hard time falling asleep and them feeling agitated.

Potheads have somehow deluded themselves into thinking that it's okay to fail a drug test lol. This guy had better hope fighting works out for him cause with his views I doubt he could hold down a regular job. He needs to man up and take responsibility, it's his own fault solely.

it's not the ufc, it's the athletic commissions that need to remove marijuana from their list of banned substances (or at least for those fighters who have a valid medical marijuana card).

They do. Nick Diaz could have applied and received a waver. He did not. Riddle has no card.

Don't fight boring. Don't get caught doing shit. Don't get caught doing shit repeatedly. Don't get caught doing shit for a second time in a row after a boring fight.

You'd lose a lot of jobs for failing a drugs test, if you want your job you have to make sacrifices, if you're not willing to do that it's goodbye.

Also, most people grow up at some point and quit doing drugs (if they ever started).

Riddle knew the fucking rules. It's not something horrendous for the UFC to "hate people that smoke weed" it's the UFC trying to have a viable image and not endorse potheads and riff raff.
