1. Colby didn't talk about Masvidals kids directly, he called Masvidal a deadbeat father and said nothing about kids. Why the hell would he anyways? Completely irrelevant. Attacked Jorge, same way Jorge has been talking shit about Colby even before first Usman fight.

2. A professional fighter snuck up on a another fighter while he was having a night out, probably drinking and whatnot, with masks and ill intentions. No intention to have a fight and settle things, intention was to sucker punch him and cause him serious injury. ILLEGAL.

3. So all welterweights should refuse to fight Colby? He was violently attacked and outnumbered on streets, with no knowledge or prior engagement on the night, just out of the blue, masked individuals start attacking you.

4. Pays no mind or relevance to the fact that Masvidal been talking shit about Colby for ages, including things behind closed doors in gym. Also pays no mind to what's going on in Russia, how about we ban all Russian fighters if Khabib has so much to say about this.

Just a shit load of ridiculous bs. Don't know if Khabibs on crack or something, he should stfu about all this, its a bad look.

There are things MMA fighters can do that go beyond MMA, and dissing family is one of them. I'm not saying Masvidal is "right" or "wrong". Just saying real life is not MMA - it's real life. Not shocking that Street Jesus would dispense some street problems on Colby for the disrespect. It's hard for me to have sympathy for anyone who pushed a beef past sporting boundaries by dissing families, so I'm all popcorn on this.

Imagine a world where every MMA fighter would say "well you beat me in the cage so you can say anything you like about my family and I'm powerless I guess". That isn't the world we live in, thankfully.

I know lol, the two main arguments people make are 1. He had 25 min. to beat up Colby and 2. Colby didn’t say anything about his kids

I’m pretty much over arguing about it, but it’s pretty crazy this is the common take when both points are absolutely moronic. If someone’s take is violence outside the octagon is bad regardless of what was said I get it, but most people aren’t even saying that, they’re just parroting those two dumbass point over and over and over. God it’s so old already.

Poirier was one of the ones who got Colby kicked out of gym by causing a ruckus every other day with Masvidal. Also downplays and disrespects Colby every single time name is mentioned. They act all tough talking shit and causing chaos behind closed doors, but don't have balls to step in cage with him and end up getting feelings hurt because he said a couple of things lol

Conor didn't attack Khabib's religion either. Khabib has the same mentality of Masvidal to justify their stupid actions. Taking a word/sentence out of its meaning and making it sound like the worst thing there is to prove they are right for their nonsensical behaviours.

Being powerless is letting someone control your actions, jeopardize your future etc by saying words you don't like.
