I was in the middle of a playthrough last year when this was announced and I stopped playing it. Been waiting for this to come out so I can hop back in. I've played 1 and 2 like 3-4 times but 3 I've only played 2 times.

Yep, I was in the middle of 3 when i stopped to wait for the legendary edition. I am jelly of people who have never played ME before and pick this up.

I had been meaning to play through these games again anyway, so I might as well get the remastered versions. Probably won't get them right away though, I've still got other games on the back burner and not enough time to play much these days.

I'm trying to blast through the single-player games I've been playing through in order to play this right away. I ordered a physical copy just for collection purposes since I have all three and Andromeda hardcopies but I am very tempted to get digital to play at midnight lol. I plan on getting it on PC as well eventually but I will stick with consoles initially.

All my friends are saying "man I wish there was multiplayer" and I think that's something a lot of people are feeling. ME3 and Andromeda multplayer was very fun and I hope they bring it back in some form whether through this Legendary Edition or ME4. I'd rather ME4 be amazing on its own and if that means no multiplayer I'm cool with that, but if they can somehow do both that'd be amazing.

Yea I've been working my way through Genshin Impact waiting on ME. I didn't want to start up anything that was a serious single player game after finishing Metro Exodus a couple weeks ago.

I never played the MP on these games. I'm fine with them not having it. I plan to get it on PC only. I just recently read

Had this preordered on Amazon, saw it was $10 off today and had some remnants of a gift card to use up so cancelled the first preorder and got it for $40.

Not a bad deal for the collection. Completely forgot this was coming out this quickly. Backlog is getting ridiculous at this point but I’ll move this one up the priority list.

Wow $40 is an amazing deal for this.

Been catching up on the Mass Effect lore in anticipation. Man, the world building in these games was incredible. We could have had an endless amount of spinoffs in this universe, even if they wanted the stories to take place before the Reaper invasion.

I would have preferred they just continue the story after the reaper situation. With a new race though not humans. Maybe even let you pick your race.

So in addition to the red flags I mentioned for those who have preordered, here's two more.

The game is practically 2 days from being released, and...

There's been NO gameplay videos released.

No reviews posted from major gaming outlets, even those that are friendly with EA.

Now there's actually not-horrible excuses for this, but they're still bad.

1. EA's been working on the Day 1 update so that the game will work 'perfect' across PC, PS4/Pro, XB1/X, PS5, and XBX/S. That's a shitload of systems to make 3 games work perfectly across the board, especially the PS5 & XBX's framerate and resolution modes.

2. The games are a total of over a 100 hours if you take your time trying or try 'complete' them, and that'd be a large task for any reviewer... so at least they're not in the situation that MGS5's reviewers had, in which they had to rush through the game in like 15 hours.

Regardless if you think those two excuses are reasonable, the smart move would be to wait for the game to be out a few weeks for reliable reviews to be released.

Looks like some stores have leaked the game early. Happens with every major release. The Street Date always gets broken by some sellers out there.

Here's some screenshots of Eden Prime

This channel has some good vidoes on the lore:

They have been quiet about it, but we finally have something at least.

This guy got the game early from EA and was allowed to upload the first 2 hours of the game

It's available tomorrow if you pre-ordered, right?

I've downloaded the entire video on max resolution & 60FPS, currently watching on my 65" Samsung in my living room and got to admit it looks pretty damn good.

He's playing the PS5 version, BTW.

The gameplay and controls seems very crisp, obviously a benefit from bringing ME3's advances to the ME1 Remaster.
