hi Jimmy,

well, its not like charges were dropped. he's out on bail after spending the afternoon in jail. i'm sure he found it pretty hateful...even a few hours in prison has to be terrible for someone who has lived like a multi millionaire and is only 32.

in a few years, i'm sure he'll be in court over this whole thing. for now, though, he's probably eating dinner at Per Se or maybe getting some takeout from fine establishment in midtown Manhattan before he settles in for the night. its been a long day for him and i'm sure he's tired.

But maybe the head Chef at Per Se wants to give him a $300 squirt of aids infected jiz garnish on his croissant? That's news worth, imo.

Perhaps he should buy some stocks in industrial grade lubricants, since he's going to need vast quantities of them. He might as well profit while receiving the pitch. They should hike price of vaseline in prison 5000% just for this guy.

he defrauded his investors (his fellow millionaires who were hoping to get rich by investing in Retrophin), i'm sure he'll get the book thrown at him.

if there's one thing that's not tolerated, its stealing from the rich.

This post, I think is spot on. It's just a matter of time before this sociopath gets what's coming to him.

On a different note, I've never seen the WR so united in agreement on a piece of news. Between that, and the prospect of this guy being locked up it truly is beginning to feel a lot like Christmas.

Looks like everyone is taking the bait and piling on.

Shkreli knew ahead of time he was going to be charged and purposely orchestrated the price gouge and resulting negative media storm to build a "tainted jury pool" appeal. how can the most hated man in america get a fair trial? he must be set free.
 
It's funny that he drives up the price of a life saving drug and nothing happens. He rips off a few rich investors and his ass is in cuffs.

This insomnia is killing me, but it sure does lead to interesting web research. Few interesting things I discovered watching this guy's channel:

-He's very proud of raising the price of the drug, because he's in the business of maximizing profits for shareholders.

-The increase is not 5000% as is claimed, it's 4067%. He wants you to get that right.

-He uses the 2 Million dollar Wu Tang case as a coaster for his beer for some reason. Actually his friend did, but he was oddly pleased.

-He got a call from someone who identified himself as a Federal agent the day before he was arrested, but he hung up on him assuming it was fake. Some people seem to think it wasn't.

-His Twitch chat is the most boring I've ever seen, but he has a couple of hundred viewers and he discusses Pharma stocks, and I left feeling very stupid. In fairness, I'm not very bright.

-Nearly forgot one. His rap name he was throwing around was "Cash Flow Statement". I guess he raps...

Not funny. It's called reality. People think he will get off because of his money. First, they may freeze all of his assets. Secondly, look at what happened to Madoff. He had a lot more money and power than Shkreli, and he got 150yrs and an ass kicking in prison.
