Well hopefully he ends up in prison with many aggressive, HIV positive prisoners.

guy goes from complete anonymity to global pariah overnight, such that we can have a thread titled "martin shkreli arrested" and people actually know who the fuck martin shkreli is.

this guy looks like frodo, raps, rides a segway, streams nonsense, etc., egging everyone on to hate him. 32 year olds who have a net worth of 100$ million (legit or illegit) are not stupid. the guy is angling for negative attention to serve his purposes. he doesnt have time to waste doing dumb shit unless it factors into his plan.

media has everyone's head on a swivel. they too dont showcase a guy like this unless it serves their purpose.

now, suddenly, he is facing a major securities fraud charge. everyone laps it up, saying its karma, how excited they are.

two possibilities:

as i stated in my previous post, shkreli already knew the heat was on and has tried to basically to cast doubt on the ability for him to receive a fair trial. when you have the FBI arresting you on a major securities violation, you literally have tips coming into you every second from business associates who were contacted or actually subpoenad leading up to the charges. the FBI is ponderously slow, like any other federal enforcement arm. the FBI calls associates of shkreli and asks about him, building a case. those associates in turn alert shkreli. this assumes shkreli is not actually working with the media and the government by jackassing around; hes simply trying to avoid catastrophe.

other possibility is this whole thing is a false flag and the charges are just a routine collusion of media, government, and big finance, with the ultimate result being that the most hated man in the world gets off scott free, a narrative which is meant to foment anger in the public, a la light sentencing in "affluenza" cases. "damn rich people always get away with everything! we need stronger enforcement and more regulation, and someone to take rich people down a peg! I'd be willing to give up some of my freedoms in exchange for preventing things like this! which candidate can deliver?"

cue the usual populist candidate to satisfy the vengeful mob.

Shkreli is playing the media and all of you as fucking fools. What you don't realize is that everything he's done over the last few months was a planned out strategy created to raise his profile in order to make him more money and it's working.

Nobody knew who he was 6 months ago and now just about everyone in the country thinks of him as an "Ebeneezer Schooge/Gordon Gecko super investor"

What none of you imbeciles picked up on was that 30 days ago he bought a controlling share in a penny stock Pharma company (KBOI). With in a week the stock went from .90/share to $45/share.

That's a 5000% increase because of the reputation you idiots made for him sharing his shit on facebook and places like here.

I don't know what his controlling share cost but let's just say he dumped $10m in which dumb dumb investors turned into $500,000,000 in less than a week.

Now the stock is at $23 a share and he probably shorted the shit out of it on the way down.

This guy was worht a few million and now his net worth is probably in the hundeds of millions.

Think about that next time you share some dumbasss shit.

The real kicker is the Drug he initially raised the price on was only prescribed to a couple of thousand people a year. The price hike barely earned anything in the grand scheme of things. It was a PR move and only a PR move. Similarly he wouldn't have done all the News/Talk show spots if he wasn't trying to raise his profile.

At no point did I say he was arrested on purpose.

I hate seeing people like this thrive and hate even more when useful idiots help them. If you think this is a CT, go look at KBIO you fucktard.

And he's being charged by the SEC for using accounting "gray area" type tricks to payback previous investors. The only reason they called it a "Ponzi Type Scheme" was so that dumb dumbs that don't understand what's going on can relate and feel good about his arrest. He didn't steal any money from actual people and all his previous investors were paid back just not in a kosher way. He'll pay fines and be free to manipulate some more stocks and get richer.

Keep sharing and maybe you can make him as famous as you made Kim Kardashian.
