According to reports tonight, former Bellator MMA bantamweight champion, Patchy Mix is in line for a long-mooted Octagon debut, with a bout against the surging, Mario Bautista slated for UFC 316 next month in Newark, New Jersey.
Overnight, PFL (Professional Fighters League) had confirmed they had released fan-favorite, Mix from his promotional contract, amid his disappointment amid a lack of traction on his return fight.

Timing was right on point

Idk if you wanna wall-n-stall a guy that can get your neck so many ways, even take your back

Wow, throwing Patchy in with a shark right away. Excited for this fight.

Now this is what I’m talking about. Just hope he doesn’t shut the bed like pitbull

It’s the only way, if you’re thinking he needs a tune up fight he’s had tune up fights the past 5yrs or so.

He’s a veteran, and was a top BW outside the UFC is in his prime, these kind of fighters you throw them in the mix right away.

Mix should win and I’m picking him. However he looked like shit in his last fight and hasn’t fought in over a year. Bautista is underrated.

In hindsight, Bautista looked awful against a 40 year old Aldo who just came out of retirement. Bautistas' plan was to hug and crotch sniff the whole fucking fight. When the referee separated them, in 2 seconds Bautista went straight in to sniffing those balls.

Really good timing for Mix if he wins, easily could get a title shot considering he's fighting on the same card as his division title fight and there isn't a clear contender.
But if they give it to Yan after he beats Mcghee, Cory vs the winner of Bautista/Mix should be a title eliminator.
