Marilyn Manson the current #metoo

i don't trust courts. call me crazy. the crackhead that attempted murder on me (and my mother) only served less than two years (and he had previously tried to murder his ex-wife. what a failure, huh?). men are weird. but i get it, y'all come from another place in life. i still have no problem believing manson is a fucking weirdo that did weirdo things that others were uncomfortable with. so many times rapists get let off in court. doesn't mean they didn't rape. anyways, this is sherdog. i may as well talk to my walls.
You're right of course that many rapist's get off due to lack of evidence etc, it's a hard crime to prove.

But I don't think it's fair to say there's no smoke without fire, condemn a person and wash your hands of your responsibility towards them. The court of public opinion has very little about it that can be said to be good.

Seeing as in this instance Manson is a freak who makes a career of it, lives it, broadcasts it, explicitly told consenting women involved he was into freaky shit, I think it's reasonable to expect women who want none of that to steer clear. In fact they need to consider they might change their mind in future and consider their future self when they make their decisions. I don't think infantalising women is feminism, I think it is more likely misogyny.

Same, not too keen to bless him or ticketmaster based on the pricing though LOL
Dude I was thinking the same! I saw NIN in Vegas a few years back and it was almost half the price! I haven't missed his show since I was 17, so I have to go, plus I have a NIN tattoo lol.
I'm super excited to see what's on the Playlist this time!

Having said this I got tickets to 2 shows in EU, and will probably go in US once too as it lines up with a trip. Figure there's not too many future opportunities likely due to their advancing age lol.

Literally same, I don't want to miss the farewell tour, and I can see it being any of the tours he does lol! What's the opening band for thr EU show?

Certainly brings back memories... last time I saw them was in my 20's in Sydney.

Where are you seeing them?
Zurich, Cologne, and probably Portland as some US friends got me a ticket in case I can make it (overlaps with a potential work trip).

Three times? Nice... bet the pocket book is stinging a bit from that though.
