Fucking idiots seem to forget it's INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY. I consider this a part of #MeToo, which certainly had some truth to it. But there was bound to be a bunch of bullshit lumped into it. Pissed off women who were out to ruin men, likely because they felt wronged at some point. #MeToo made it real easy for them.

I don't know what's worse.... women who make false accusations, or people who believe them based on nothing more than their word.

This did always seem somewhat questionable and whilst I wouldnt like to come down with certainty on either side of this I do think it highlights again that celebrities are a REALLY bad way to represent such issues.

Real abuse does happen to them(or is carried out by them) of course but I think the potential for false claims is also very significantly higher than it is for normal people because obviously the amount of money and publicity involved is that much higher and indeed the likelihood fantasists will latch onto them.

I did not believe the allegations against him. In his interviews Manson always comes across as thoughtful and well spoken. Despite his entertainment persona I always figured that he didn’t seem the type to sexually assault anybody.

To be fair she also claims Wood or her legal team manipulated her into false claims of abuse, could be I spose that claim itself is due to pressure from Manson or negative reaction she's faced from his fans(or alt righters) but still it doesn't look good.

If anyone has been following this case at least partially could see Wood was lying and super manipulative. Someone got into her ear how she shouldnt have been "subjected" to such "harsh" sex / fetish and crazy eyes immediately grabbed onto it and started calling herself victim. Typical, it doesnt matter whether she had fun with Manson, doesnt matter whether she was legal or it was all consensual.
