I guess it depends on who you’re talking to. Some people don’t view teenagers as adults, so they’ll use the terminology.

In the United States you're viewed as an adult at 18.
That's not my view it's the country's view.
 
ANYONE doubting these poor women's stories, if you have a sane bone in your body you''ll believe them if you watch the documentary Phoenix Rising on HBO. I didn't know quite how horrific he was to these women. And is bang to rights. It isn't just rape, drugging, horrific grooming, brainwashing, isolating, starvation, sleep depravation, blackmail and torture. It runs far deeper. Might be the worst cases I've ever heard of that didn't end up in murder.

Absolute fucking asshole, I feel sick that I used to enjoy his music and feel awful for these poor women.

It is, I watched the documentary this afternoon. No way he didn't do it. All of it. So much worse than what was in the press as well, that was the PG 13 version of events.

I wouldn’t consider myself a fan of Manson or Michael Jackson but HBO would be the last place I’d go for my information based on their slanted and outright untrue Jackson documentary where they were caught cutting and pasting together voice recordings to piece together things he actually never said and presenting them as if he had.

There's just too much footage and too many witnesses not to believe them. And there's no way they could have spliced together footage when much of it is in the same room, at the same time, they didn't do like breaks. And lots of Manson stuff in Manson's own words in his book. He just really doesn't like women. Watch it and you'll see what I mean.

All those 18 year old groupies blowing mick jagger and every other older rock star certainly arent groomed. If youre being groomed you are not mentally fit to make sex decisions we decided 18 (17) some places is the cut off. If im 30 is some 50 year old gilf grooming me? Nah i dont think so.

Yeah not giving HBO the benefit of the doubt anymore on the non-fiction front. They burned that bridge when their CEO gave the go ahead for the Jackson documentary even though he knew it lacked journalistic integrity and then had to resign for it. Granted not that hard to believe Manson is a deviant but also not hard to believe Wood got involved with someone in the industry at the age she did considering her parents are in the industry as well. Hell they possibly condoned it.

Muhammad Ali loved young girls as well. I wonder if HBO will make a documentary about his pervy, creepy, deviant ways? Of course not they’ll just make another glowing documentary praising him like they did in 2019.

Not according to their interviews, no. And it wasn't just Evan, plenty of other women had the same treatment from him. He bullied plenty of guys as well but he really hates women. One of the tour guys came forward from a tour and said he saw it, another guy on set from Heart Shaped Glasses saying everyone thought Manson drugged and raped her during the filming.
It was 3 hours watching actual hell, it had me in tears.

I edited my post. Read the last paragraph. I find it odd they hold some abuser’s feet to the fire while protecting and praising others. They seem morally bankrupt.

Who knows. He definitely had a kid with a 16 year old when he was 34 though. I wouldn’t put it past him.

I used to listen to him as a teenager. I found his music to be rather catchy, plus his character was great on Celebrity Deathwatch when he killed Hanson and The Spice Girls. The twisted edgelord in me when I was a kid loved it. I haven't touched his music in several years though, simply because I agree with your view about music, and other things, being food for the soul.



Have they taken legal action against Manson? Tried to put him in jail?

I get that actually. The stuff i listened to in high school is not food either.
 
I have a fuck load of band shirts. Laundry hadn't been done in a couple of weeks so went to grab a shirt from the back of the closet this morning. Marilyn Manson Come White shirt. Awkward.
