Marc Goddard is NOW visibly a bad referee.

Goddard has been terrible for quite a while now. I cringe every time I see him reffing a fight I'm invested in.

That said, I don't think the Blaydes stoppage last night was that bad.

Stoppage looked fine, to be honest. Blaydes just kind of sat there getting blasted without so much as moving. Sure, he wasnt out, but he wasn't doing anything to move or defend.
His arm was not stable when he tried to get up so he was pretty damaged.
Clearly an early stoppage! It should have been limp!

What did you expect ? Curtis to get up and Tom to stop punching ?

You're just a saddist

Ive been saying for a while what the F is ths UFC thinking hiring refs this physicslly large with heads the size of melons?

They should all be the size of keith peterson who is the best ref in the promotion bar none.

Do you notice the way Keith wears all black? Hes trying to be INVISIBLE which is what a good ref is supposed to strive for

Not like this complete ham Goddard

everytime blaydes got hit he fell flat belly down. goddard has to make the call in an instant. was a perfectly fine call bladyes got reflatend more than once

Blaydes was moving his head and pushing up just as Goddard was moving in to stop it. He had already made up his mind. And he was on the opposite side of where the strikes were being thrown. He's garbage.

Most won't defend Curtis because he's not popular. If it was Tom there would be an uproar.

I was rooting for Tom, but I thought it was early and left a bad taste in my mouth. Not the worst stoppage ever, but also not good.

Re watched all 3 of those stoppages and all 3 were crap championship stoppages.

Ridiculous referee, and these early stoppages are turning me off from the sport.
