Despite our differences, right and left agree on a lot of things. Heres a list of common goals that should not be controversial at all:
1. Don't hawkishly invade/bomb countries.
2. Don't screw over average Joe so you can benefit rich corporations or billionaires.
3. Don't place the interests of foreign nations above the interests of your own.
MSM makes sure we are constantly at each other's throats over some ladyboy drama instead of simply ensuring that someone who can follow those three rules gets into office.
For the last 10 years or so though the average people have been getting wiser to this and its understandable that they elected Trump despite his clear flaws. I think people were right to see him as a better alternative to another hollow corporatist.
However time has now revealed to us the extent to which Trump can be beneficial, and its woefully less than we hoped for. Lets take a look at how he violated the above mentioned three principles that theoretically are the bedrock of his movement but in practice not so much:
1. Trump uses bunker buster super bombs to destroy Iran's nuclear energy facilities over empty fearmongering that they will develop nukes after 50 years of being able to but still not doing it.
2. Trump passes the Big Beautiful Bill, which generally benefits the ultra rich and will negatively impact the working class.
3. Trump constantly goes to bat for Israel, ignoring thousands of Palestinian civilians butchered by Netanyahu, rubber stamping Israel's annexation of the Golan Heights, bombing Iran, pushing the Abraham Accords on Arab nations, moving the embassy to Jerusalem, etc.
Trump supporters will say he could have done a lot worse to Iran, the BBB was a mixed bag, I don't care about Palestine anyways, etc. but thats not the point. The point is Trump had a clear message and a clear mandate from the American people, but there's something wrong and he is only half-delivering on his promises. So its time to diagnose the problem. Well for anyone who is at all familiar with American politics this seems to be a pretty obvious case of a grass roots political movement being highjacked by neocons at the behest of big business and the Israel lobby. Whether or not this has anything to do with Trump partying with Epstein I will leave up to you to decide, but it seems rather convenient that this is another issue he has underdelivered on.
So looking forward to 2028, how can we secure a government which delivers on the 3 points? Is the answer to elect a democrat? So far their best prospects are Sanders, the Jewish man who manages to make Trump and Biden look young, and Fetterman, the guy who advocates destroying Iran and is fiercely pro-Israel on all matters. Not exactly hopeful about either of those. Edit: People have suggested Newsom too, but he has said Israel is the side of good fighting against evil, and signed laws restricting Palestinian protests and enforcing mandatory anti-discrimination training created by Jewish lawmakers. He will be much of the same.
Realistically it seems more likely the Republicans will stay in power, so the question becomes who will be the heir to Trump and what direction will they take the country in? Vance seems the most likely candidate as he is young, intelligent, articulate, charming, endorsed by Trump yet without the crassness or connections to Epstein, has a military background and links to Appalachia, all which will make him appealing to people. You might be thinking this seems too good to be true, and you would be right. This is because this harmony of qualities is no accident, as Vance is in fact an entirely astroturfed product, plucked out of law school and groomed by billionaire transhumanist neocon Peter Thiel to one day do his bidding in politics.
Lefties seem to already know this, but MAGA dudes I must tell you now that if you elect Vance you will get George Bush part 3 but worse because he wants to put a computer chip in your brain. Don't do it. Remember that he was even calling Trump Hitler before his orders changed.
So if not Vance, then who? Ron DeSantis would probably be the next republican to come to mind, so would he be a good option? Unfortunately he doesnt seem to pass the sniff test. Despite in being less obvious, he shows some signs of astroturfing too. Just like Vance he goes from an Ivy League law school, to a fake military role, to becoming a prominent politicians and gets praised by Thiel. The link isnt as definitive here but its enough to raise a few eyebrows, and don't forget that he blatantly betrayed Trump in the primaries. Can you really trust him?
The truth is these manufactured candidates will almost always beat out real grass roots champions. AIPAC even systematically eliminates candidates who show any nuanced understanding of the Palestine conflict by funding their opponents. But one man who has surprisingly slipped through their net is Thomas Massie, the representative of Kentucky in the house of representatives. If you look at voting issues regarding foreign wars, bombings, or helping Israel, its often 300-1 in favor and the one guy who votes against is Massie. Trump has started attacking him because of this:
Massie also opposed the BBB and has pushed for the release of the Epstein files. No wonder Trump hates him and is sending his attack dogs against him. Massie has also advocated for AIPAC to register as a foreign agent. The last time an American politician did so it was JFK shortly before he was assassinated. If there is any way we can get a guy like Massie in it would be a massive win for true populists, whether they are MAGA or the young left.
