Social MAGA 2025 Civil war incoming! Vivek Ramaswamy Betrays Base & reveals true colors, Says Americans SUCK !!

The economy was still running below capacity when he was last in office. With it running as hot as it is now, higher deficits will be inflationary so another tax cut won't work without offsets. I think ultimately, we will see more cuts for the rich, offset by tax hikes on the non-rich and spending cuts, along with higher deficits that will eat away the benefit (that is, I expect Trump's economic policy will be a failure). But that's neither here nor there. The point was that it is ridiculous to deny that he's extremely pro-establishment.

Trump runs one of the two parties so even by that weasel definition, he's still very obviously as much of a part of the establishment as it is possible to be.

I think that's why he's so hung up on tariffs. He thinks he can cut taxes for the wealthy and make up the difference with tariffs to cover some of the shortfall. That way he doesn't have to raise income taxes on anyone. Even his rubes would second guess cutting taxes for the rich while their taxes went up. But if the tax increase is indirect like through price increases because of tariffs...maybe thats easier to defend (e.g. tell everyone that it's residual bidenomics or that it's necessary to help American companies/manufacturers)

Maybe but he would do it anyway. If this gets some fat out of govt then win/win
Very much disagree that cutting stuff that people rely on to pay for a giveaway to rich people is win/win.
No. Noone is born into office but the years of being entrinched is not there. Being a part of the group isn't there..he doesnt get along with either side tbh.
Republicans are totally subservient to him. I really don't know what you're talking about.
Haven't seen a republican or dem do this and promise to cut govt like this.
Every Republican adminstration and Congressperson threatens cuts. You don't know that?
Maybe it's happened but most have towed the line and operated in the framework of their reality. It could mean ultimately he gets nothing passed. That's also a thing
The issue is always that cuts in the abstract are popular and easy to promise. But telling people kids are going to go hungry or you're going to throw them off their health insurance is unpopular. So it comes down to how willing they are to face reality. I think it would be better if they just didn't do a big giveaway to the rich, but that's why I didn't vote for Trump.

America's about to get their own Indian invasion kek

"...doing stuff that Republicans like to do, plus a lot of corruption."

Saying the same thing twice was not necessary but i did appreciate it anyway,
Republicans are willing to look the other way when it comes to Trump's corruption and are generally less willing to hold members accountable, but it's not a thing they like, and they'd rather not be put in the position of having to cover that up.

No, one. But filling those positions with H1 workers is an abuse of the program. If he can't find workers, maybe he needs to adjust the pay or the hours he expects people to work.
Class consciousness from a conservative!

People don't like him because he's Jewish. Its the only possible explanation!!!
<shadface>

What's it like being this dumb?
I don't blame Jews or George Soros for all the problems in the world so I'll need you to explain what it's like to be as dumb as you are.

Republican hacks like Holmes don't like him because a portion of his philanthropic donations go to left-wing causes (his opposition to the Iraq invasion was the initial source of that hatred, though trying to promote civic liberties in Eastern Europe also earned him some enemies). But the character of that hatred is in line with anti-Semitic tropes and a lot of the imagery that rightist propagandists use is explicitly anti-Semitic.

Haven’t read thread but they’re 100% right. India has a culture that celebrates academic achievement whereas America celebrates celebrity. I work in tech and know firsthand. I’m not sure why the cringey TS equated America with white people though.
All cultures have pros & cons in most spaces. Including this one. The fact that Americans don't follow a cast system, push back against power, don't respect authority enough to not voice their grievances, are typically not sexually repressed ( i know of multiple people who lost their job and visa s because they got around a female & lost all common sense & control. Sounds crazy but it matters)....value certain social skills over pure expertise, & strive to hold leadership accountable is THE EXACT REASON WHY THEY RATHER COME OVER HERE AND MAKE LIFE CHANGING MONEY AND OPPORTUNITY instead of stay home.

Doesn't seem right to stand on the foundation of opportunity built on and by the American principles of pro worker culture, then shit on them for being quote on quote inferior.
Americans definitely have higher standards & expectations from their employers than other cultures. Sometimes I think that gets conflated with them being "problematic employees."

The libs are just upset that the MAGA base stands up for themselves, rather than be rolled over every single time. Cenk of all people has a pretty decent take

@Cajun I mentioned this to you earlier in the thread, Trump had already tried to reform the visa program and this same person who crafted his policy and is coming right back to the admin and likely to see this implemented on day 1 of the admin.

Seems like good reform and a win-win for both sides of the argument, and would force big tech bros to put their money where their mouth is. Trump has always said he supported the program, but it needed reform

Care to boil your point down to a sentence or two? It sounds like a load of philosophical bullshit.

And it’s “caste” not “cast”. Let me guess, autocorrect?

Dude you have been insulting and trolling all day. I rarely engage those types in here. Enjoy the evening man. I'm good

You can't just claim everything you don't like or don't have an answer for is trolling. You guys are basically operating at the exact same level in here.

Except I haven't blamed Jews for anything. You're so pathetic.
