There has been one fight in Jones career he had a choice in really and that was Chael. Every last opponent the UFC picked out. How can you boame Jones when every human imaginable would choose the Stipe fight if in Jones shoes lol? It makes zero sense.

Luke has a sordid history with Jon, and I find it hilarious how worked up he's getting over Jon's shenanigans. I actually find Luke really interesting and somewhat entertaining, especially when he gets really rabid over something.

Yes Luke was Jones biggest defender when all of media dog piled him.

You don't know that for a fact though. It's not that big of a deal to me, just a footnote in my OP. Everyone knows Jon is an asshole. Maybe Luke was just being too nice before, now he's putting Jon to the coals. I wouldn't blame him at all if he wanted to make it personal, it's his life, his channel, his opinion, ect. The sport hasn't been legitimate for a long long time if ever really.. I think many are desensitised to it, which makes sense when you consider the parralel notion of enjoying watching people kick fuck out of each other.

3 things are happening here. 1: Jones is clearly ducking and I’d go further and say he’s ducked Ngannou and Pavlovich as well. 2: he’s insulting our intelligence with his bullshit excuses. 3. UFC is facilitating this limp-wristed Nancy behaviour and trying to sell this dogshit to us.

It's the most obvious answer, since he is ragging on Jon's fans and there is no reason for Luke to take this persona,l because it has absolutely nothing to do with Luke. Luke in general also gets too easily worked up by random MMA fans. He also in general does a decent job of not letting his personal opinions on a fighter blend in with his analyses of the fight husiness.

But yeah, Luke has changed his tune about Jon, but that was long ago. This didn't contribute to that change.
