lol kinda sucks having lifting buddies that have different goals. when i went with my bodybuilder friend once, we just minded our own business and just approached each other if we needed a spot.

I think he may be doing it for appearance like you say. He was kind of depressed/angry because he hates his current roommates and it brought down my moral along with it. We have to put the noob comp off for now because Jay is injured, but I am looking forward to it. I am glad you like the real mckenzies, I have the Off the Leash CD and it's really good. I'll have to look into those songs.

I had him doing them before, but never more than 135 lbs. He can barely SOHP the bar and I think he may be frustrated with it.

I like that idea. It's nice to have a spotter, but everything else sucked. If he actually wants to lift again I might have to try that. Thanks, I am lucky the swine flu only lasted a week!

-I have been neglecting these, going to try to do them more often.
 
2 mile jog @ 20 min pace.

I put in 7 hours on my study guides today and ended up not having enough time to hit the gym. Jogged for 20 min instead.
 
2 hours of tennis, I ended up losing, but it was a close match. I won the first set 7-5, lost the second set 4-6, and we ran out of time for the 3rd set so we played a tie breaker that i lost 7-9.

5k(3.1 mi) jog @ 29:28 pace.

-Good day of cardio, hopefully I can find some time for lifting tomorrow.

-haven't done these since the swine flu and wanted to see where I am. My legs were feeling pretty tight from running and tennis yesterday. I need to read up on how the arms are positioned on the low bar squat. I don't think my wrists were supposed to be bent like I had them.
 
2.5 mile jog tonight, didn't time it. Probably going to run another half marathon in a few months so I might as well start getting ready so I can cut 25 minutes off my time.

-I still have a cold, but I think she's about done. Going to move the iron this weekend now that I am feelin' better.

-Easier then I remember, I suppose these other lifts are helpin out the dips.

-Arms pretty tired at this point. The squat rack with filled with quarter squatters for a good 45 minutes so I decided to throw in some of these. I will try to order some wrist wraps today so I don't have to stretch out me wrists between sets.


Edit: 3 mile jog and wrist wraps ordered.

I'm in the white Gi, over the winter break I am going to try to get in some BJJ and most likely just train with my friend who has a wrestling mat for a while.

I kind of wish I stayed with my lifting over the summer, a year ago I was able to bench more. At least I know that I can move up if I put the effort into it. My goal for the bench comp is 200 or 210, but I gotta get to work. I am on Ronin's team.

When is your meet? I saw what you plan on attempting, how long did it take you to get to this point in lifting?

Ignorant bashing of 5x5, your training, and how not-so-superior he is to you. He's lucky I just gave him dubs, trolling the logs is an instant ban a lot of times IMO.
