Huge fight. Great debut opponent for Keita.
Awesome fight and a huge opportunity for Keita, but kind of a strange move by the UFC. Seemed like they were trying to get Pitbull into the rankings as quickly as possible with the fights they gave him before, and now he’s facing an unranked opponent
They might be mad at him due to the Ige fight and counting on Keita to scalp him and burst onto the rankings instead. Looking at Pitbull's current form it might happen too, unless Losene gets stuck on the bottom.Awesome fight and a huge opportunity for Keita, but kind of a strange move by the UFC. Yeah I know, totally get it from Keita’s perspective, just not sure it had to be against Pitbull at this stage.Unranked isnt relevant to this equation, they have to pay Keita 6 figures a fight to sign him so hes getting a top 10 guy off the bat just like Pico. Thats how it works, how its always worked.
Now maybe they can sign Parnasse, Islam Omarov and a few other killers when theyre doing free agency.
He had balls to accept, no one ranked / high payed didnt want to accept fight against Keita and that was reason why UFC struggled to sign him. There was clause in his contract that UFC needs to offer him something better than Oktagon is able to and etc..This is nasty matchmaking. I like Pitbull. This is wrong and upsetting. He’s 38 years old.
How do you know this? Source? He had balls to accept, no one ranked / high payed didnt want to accept fight against Keita and that was reason why UFC struggled to sign him. There was clause in his contract that UFC needs to offer him something better than Oktagon is able to and etc..
