Elections Lori Kauffman (R) - Mass: "I will exile all Jews."

“I shall never fight in the armed forces with a Negro by my side. Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.”

Robert Byrd.

Of the record-setting 18,500-plus Senate votes Byrd cast, he said his biggest regret was opposing the 1964 Civil Rights Act, a landmark law that brought down barriers for black Americans.

He said his views changed most dramatically after his teenage grandson was killed in a 1982 traffic accident. "The death of my grandson caused me to stop and think," Byrd said. "I came to realise that black people love their children as much as I do mine."

Also Robert Byrd.

So a blatant Neo-Nazi is running for GOP leadership in Massachussets:

“Don’t forget I’ll likely get voted into office on March 5,” Kauffman wrote earlier this week on X, formerly Twitter. “Long term goals are to ban same sex marriage (never should have been legalized) and trans will be illegal. Yes illegal. I will also exile all Jews.”

She is trying to win a seat as a County Rep on the Republican State Committee:

“I’m still learning a lot about what actually happened during World War II. There were no gas chambers. Every single thing we know about World War II is a lie, just like everything we know about our own world we live in today is a lie. I have the same goals as Hitler: Exile the Jews and keep their degeneracy and corruption and lies out of society. It’s destroying us.”

I get the sense this is similar to a girl who does porn to take revenge on her father.

The phrase "a leopard never changes its spots" means that it's impossible for one to change their character, even if they will try very hard. The expression, sometimes also used as "a leopard can't change its spots", is used to explain the idea that no one can change their innate nature.

lol, you're arguing with fortune cookie bullsh*t? He changed, he renounced his ways and then turned his career to championing Civil Rights so much so that people he formerly detested mourned his death and penned tributes to him. His voting record speaks for itself.

He did what he had to do to save and further his career.

He did the opposite of his younger self...to save and further his career. Sounds like....wait for it...CHANGE
Ya he changed his circle of friends and what he said.

this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.”

I dunno, doesn't seem like he ever viewed black folks as equals.

When did he make that quote?

Please provide the exact date.

Why don't you look it up, then look up how many years later he apologized. See how many years it took him to supposedly realize that blacks folks were also human beings.

You are making the claim that he never stopped being a racist despite being presented clear evidence that he renounced his ways and fought for Civil Rights. You want to make assertions of his character after the fact, you provide the evidence.

So how many years was it till he had a change of heart? And did it align with him entering politics, if you want to believe it was just a coincidence, go ahead. I don't.

I don't care what you believe. I'm not asking your beliefs, I'm asking you to substantiate your contention as I have. Byrd was already in politics before he renounced his earlier position on race relations.

So he was the original race grifter.
How rude!

So on any forum, someone will quote an actual stat., and get called a racist.
On the other side a known klansman has a D next to his name and said he's sorry. OK.

You're doing a lot of dancing. First you were implying Byrd was motivated in saving his career, then you ask if he changed his ways before he entered politics, as if having a political career was the main drive.

If you quote stats to assert that particular races are worse than others, you're a racist. If you then have a life-changing event that shows you the humanity of all people, publicly renounce your ways, and then your actions back that renouncement to such a degree that the people who you once considered enemies celebrate your existence, you are no longer a racist. This isn't complicated.

What if you just provide the link, and the stats prove that some races are worse than others, who would be racist in that scenario, the stats, the stat collectors or the person that provided the link?

If you need to have a life changing event to realize that other people have feelings, you're probably a lifelong racist.
