Looking to buy a new laptop

That's good you got lucky with that one. I've seen so many brand new with problems I lost count. They are always last in reviews.

I bought another Toshiba to replace it and didn't have any problems with it for 2 years but it was stolen.

I currently have another Toshiba Satellite that I've had for 7 months and the only problems are that it came with Windows 10 and Cortana.

$1500? Surface Book for sure. You can remove the screen and use it as a tablet as well.

Or a Lenovo... Yoga Pro's are amazing Ultrabooks, best resolution on the market and they are hybrids that can be manipulated as tablets. Only problem is that they are so thin, they don't have as much memory.
