I can't see how she could defeat the bad guys with just claws , because wouldn't any person with sharp claws be able to do very similar stuff then? Wolverine is soo bad ass because his whole body is reinforced with Adamantium and he can withstand severe injury.
Don't think too much into it because it won't make perfect sense. As I said, it's just movie magic exaggeration. Same with Hit-Girl being able to take on armed goons with her hand-to-hand combat scenes even though she doesn't have powers. Or how the non-powered heroes in Watchmen seemed like they have enhanced strength, speed and agility when they fight.

Fox Screwed Up with Caliban Appearing in Both LOGAN and X-MEN: APOCALYPSE

Caliban-Stephen-Merchant-Tmas-Lemarquis-Dragonlord.jpg

Caliban, a character who's usually associated with the underground mutant group, The Morlocks, has shown up twice in recent X-Men films, played by two different actors - Stephen Merchant and Tómas Lemarquis.

With X-Men: Apocalypse set in 1983 and Logan unfolding 46 years later in 2029, fans have been developing complicated flowcharts and theories to try and explain how these type of inconsistencies could actually make sense. Well, it seems the fans are paying more attention to the details than the film's producers and creative teams.

It’s a funny, messy story of how so often these things are not as coordinated as everyone thinks,” Logan director James Mangold told Nerdist. “I actually had written him into our movie, and they didn’t know [he was] in Apocalypse, and then they kind of wrote it in their movie, and they cast someone in their movie and I had not seen it and was working away on mine.

So in short, the reason why Caliban appears in both movies is because no one was paying attention at Fox. It's these continual minor mishaps that persist and ultimately undermine Fox's efforts to build a cohesive cinematic universe for Marvel's mutant superheroes. On films that cost hundreds of millions of dollars to market and produce, it's a little mind-boggling that a mistake of this nature could occur.

The Explanation Behind Why Caliban Appears In Logan And X-Men: Apocalypse Will Leave You Dumbfounded

let's be real, there is a plethora of inconsistencies in Fox's x-men series / wolverine series.

I mean, there is a figurative ton of them -- the fact that they point out this one is kind of hilarious considering the glaring ones. Like messed up timelines; major characters forgetting when they meet each other; dates completely out of whack.

its ridiculous that 87 movies into this franchise we haven't seen the Morlocks.

This.

Didn't even remember most of Apocalypse, much less some actor that was supposed to be Caliban.

Biggest inconsistency - In Wolverine Origins, an adamantium bullet just knocks Logan out and gives him amnesia. In the recent movie,

it blows Logan's clone's head off.

how about wolverine escaping alkali lake two different ways - nevermind that he was apparently there for 3-4 years before escaping

everyone forgetting they met Logan already

Prof X stating he met erik when he was 17 in one movie and then in his 30's in another.

Prof X forgetting Magneto's helmet blocks his brain waves.

Meeting Jean a few years after she is already enrolled.

Stryker aging 40 years in just over a decade.

etc, etc.

It's the earlier one's son... who just took after pops & is actually named Caliban Jr. but he just doesn't use the Jr. tag in the movie.

Yeah, that's a terrible list.

Personally, Spiderman II held my number one spot for a long time, probably still does.

My newer personal list of Live Action after letting the Logan hype die down. I was back and forth. The top spot is honestly a tie with me.

1. Logan / The Dark Knight
2. The Winter Soldier
3. Guardians of the Galaxy
4. Deadpool
5. Watchmen

Honorable Mentions........Dredd (Urban), Iron Man, Ant Man, Hell Boy 2, Blade 2.

The absolute best Superhero movie of all time is still "The Incredibles".

Superhero Dirty Secret? I like Stallone Dredd.
<Goldie11>

Holy shit, what a great movie. It's not hard to suspend belief with such great storytelling. It almost makes up for that shit fest called X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Almost...

Solid list, strongly agree about Urban Dredd and definitely The Incredibles. No capes!

Not really a fan of Stallone Dredd, but I did love Schneider mockingly saying "I am the law!"

The first Blade would probably in my top five.

Stallone Dredd would have been better received if he had just kept the damn helmet on and had a less cheesy closing scene . It was completely campy like the comics, and I would pay money to see the versions that initially had the NC17 or R ratings.

Blade is great, I dismiss it due to lousy CG during the climax fight. Two was where it got good.
