Economy Let's talk gas prices

Ugh no..Not really a good reason to go green.

Food prices will be rising to not just oil. Also you will be paying more for your EV V then your oil/gas car.

No you won't be paying more for an EV. With the bill getting passed they are subsidizing purchases of more ev's. They cost less to maintain and electricity is much cheaper than gas.

Also, yeah oil companies just suddenly increasing prices because they feel threatened is a great reason to cut them out of the picture. But you enjoy cucking for big oil I guess? To each their own.

Yes you will be. Even for streaming services i have heard nonsense that you wont be as much as you are your paying for. But then the bait and switch came on some of those services.

EVs are nonsense.

Solar panels and most of the green energy nonsense comes from "oil" How you think solar panels are made? not without the resources.

Yes, and chip shortage leading to a scarcity of cars driving up prices too. Suddenly there is not enough of everything so people will charge more.

Ever wonder if these are manufactured problems? Seems like a consistent theme.
Don’t think the regular areas are planned. Most the autos for instance expected a massive recession which leads to annualized autos goring from 16m to 12m or even 8m. So they cut back orders. Foundries cut back production and or found other customers such as electronics.
Lumber too bad similar problems. No one wanted a hard full of unsold lumber so no one ordered any. And you can’t just cut down a tree and have it at Home Depot to tomorrow. From forest to store probably takes three months given transportation and the need for wood to be rated aka dried out

California gas prices suck. I think they're the highest in the country.

I'm sure it has nothing to do with wholesale gas stockpiles accumulated through the pandemic being depleted, pandemic measures being relaxed, massive disruptions due to Texas's faulty infrastructure and stock dorks gambling on oil futures.

It must be because Joe Biden became President last November.
Perhaps doing things like closing pipelines, banning gas and oil production on public land and his pro-renewable and anti-oil rhetoric might have an effect?

Oh no, none of those could possibly affect gas prices!

So reasonable. Surely the rental car companies knew they were creating a shortage of cars to rent. Prices have more than tripled here. Even for an October trip the price is just as big.

That's all you were worried about ? Haaà haaa

Trump presidency was better for America, even during the pandemic. In Bidens America, a dozen chicken wings are $14, plywood is $70 a sheet, and who knows how expensive gas will be in a couple years. Not to mention violence is off the charts.

Na I'll pay that price easily to not have to hear about the guy constant idiocy. Obviously alot of people were tired of it and voted him out lol.

{<jimmies}

Btw, that's pathetic.

Any idea what that adds in cost to a new home for instance?

Bu Bu But Newt Gingrich!!!!

Doesn't seem like you understood the point. Hacks regularly attribute rising gas prices to presidents they don't like, even though no serious economist would say that gas prices have anything to do with presidents. And when they come down, people just stop talking about the issue. Not like anyone who is pretending to think that Biden is making gas prices rise will give him credit when they fall. You guys will just move on to the next fake outrage.

They historically go up every memorial day..I posted a link that the last 2 years it was the same price under Trump but fell on deaf partisan ears

And I pointed out that we saw this same hackery when Obama was president. Gas prices went up a bit, and hacks were blaming him, and saying that they would soar even more if he were re-elected (Gingrich and others predicted $10 a gallon!), and then he was and they fell, and it just stopped being talked about. You'd think that making that kind of a mistake would cause people to re-evaluate their model of how this stuff works, but that assumes that there's a sincere effort to get things right.

Nope.

You say that like it's ok.

Tell us, what has Biden accomplished since becoming president?

If you're going to pick out 30-40 k increase as if housing builders didnt mark up prices previously when building homes you're delusional lol. Housing prices go up every year.

Alot of the increase comes from remote working. More people are able to move to different parts of the country without losing income. So houses are becoming limited in certain areas and hence the price jumps.

I can sell my house for 60k over the market right now .

Biden is a puppet just like the rest of them. Don't care for any of them. I'm just glad we don't have to hear Trump anymore.
