I'm pretty sure the idk fish is a juvenile redfish.
The catfish thingy is definitely a gafftop.
Did you catch the bottom one in saltwater?

Im not one to shy away from my failures and bloopers......

Watch me get bitch slapped by this Alligator Gar like I owe it Money as I try to toss him back to the water

Hello sherbros. Recently I have decided to take up fishing. Mostly bass. But have no issue going fo others.

Yesterday was my 1st attempt at using a drop shot rig. Interesting set up.

So far I have tried lipped crankbaits, spinners, chatter baits, soft plastics, senkos, creature baits, and so on.

I am trying to learn lure fishing. So knowing I am a complete newbie to fishing other than gojng out as a kid with my dad.

What do you guys advise for muddy water? what do you use for clear water? And what techniques do you suggest for the lures you reccomend?

If you are gonna fish bass make sure you drop the jig. But only do it in the right spots. When you know this, you will be able to call yourself a fisherman.

Whats up Sherbros!? Looks like Early Spring Bass Fishing is firing up here in SoCal. I havent been able to go out since Valentines Day, but this week I am back on schedule fishing 2 to 4 days a week . . .

How are you guys looking out there?

@90 50 Where you at?

Northern Indiana here. Ice out on my home lake was march 6th. Finally got the boat out this week and caught a few decent largemouth on swimbaits and chatterbaits also a few on jerkbaits nothing over 3lbs which is considered a solid fish for this area. Surface water temps were 40° when I put in on Tuesday and climbed to 50.5° this afternoon before a cold front pushed through. Marking lots of suspending fish on the graph. Good luck this year!

Fluoro, braid, mono what’s everyone running?
I use braid for freshwater. 100lb braid with a top shot of 100lb mono for salt. I’ve never used fluorocarbon. Anyone use it?

I use fluorocarbon for freshwater fishing. I will use it for leader material for finesse fishing and straight fluoro for specific techniques like crankbaits and swimbaits in clear water. It supposedly doesn't reflect light like mono so it's good for clear water or pressured lakes and it sinks so it will allow baits to run deeper.
