Lets talk fishing

Went out on the kayak early am. Wanted to see if I could hook into the big one that got away last week. I didn’t, but I hooked into two decent bass-one pushing three pounds. Both caught on a Japanese soft plastic.

I usually fish the Missouri and Yellowstone river zones here in Montana. Usually the "warm" water areas on those rivers.

So, still using waders at all times? My favorite YouTuber is from ND and he crushes smallmouth and largemouth as well as pike and muskie.

Where I wade here, the water is in the 80s and very comfortable during the summer months. We are currently planning a trip to the smoky mountains for later this week and I occasionally try to fish there and the water is always very cold.
