https://www.thoughtco.com/the-most-conductive-element-606683Interesting and I've read about that but it's not solid evidence of anything. Pure silver is the best conductive metal that we know of. Gold plated contacts are only used in very low voltage applications (1 or a few volts for example). The distribution of gold versus silver on this planet, well they are both widely distributed. Why would they mine all of the gold when pure silver is a much better conductor for anything using any significant power? What reasoning do you have (or is argued by anyone) that they would mine the gold and leave, when silver, and even copper, have better conductive properties? Simply because of rarity on other planetary bodies? Because there sure is a lot of gold on this planet as well as silver, and to find them requires different processes as well. Additionally, gold when used with any higher power (electrical charges) will arc and dissipate, making it vulnerable to tarnish while silver retains its internal conductive properties.
agreed
Since we don't have any data on biological life constraints of ET intelligent life, an animal that lives for a few hundred years on earth doesn't mean much. I was referring mainly to our own human restraints and life as we know it, which of course is all we can do, but we are speculating after all.
But of course, with advancements in genetics and technology to lengthen lives, who knows what our peak might ultimately be. It's simply not possible to know anything about ET intelligent life times, but that would be a main factor, as well as their ability to travel vast distances, playing the biggest part in how reasonable it would be to make the trip. As interesting as the Anunnaki are, we really don't know they lived for a thousand + years, but what we have deciphered from artifacts is one of the most fascinating things ever to me.

Read, and rebuttal if you so desire.
