If Edward's was a draw they probably would've already fought. Unfortunately for Edward's, he managed to turn a Diaz fight into a dud. Saturday didn't help his case much even though he won.

I agree but this is under the assumption that Usman beats Colby in the rematch or under the assumption WB beats Burns.

In matchmaking both outcomes matter. Jorge lost to Usman twice. If he'd beat Leon it kills a contender, as they wouldn't make Usman/Mas 3.

For timing Usman vs Colby and winner of WB/Burns vs Leon works. There would be a list of contenders no matter what the outcomes of those are, and the WW champ stays active.

That would throw a spanner in the works for Leon, Nate almost did, so more chance of Mas doing it. Mas has a killer insticnt, and would have finsihed Leon in that situaton.

Leon's fans will say otherwise, that he beats any WW, but Leon must be worried now his jaw as been exposed. Usman jab will drop him

Based on what evidence?

- Usman dominated Leon arguably more than Masvidal in fight 1
- Masvidal destroyed Cowboy / Leon got a decision
- Masvidal pieced Nate up arguably better than Leon / though both got the better of him soundly

Both are great all-rounders... pretty evenly sized.
A great 50/50 fight. No reason or evidence to think Leon would starch him.

I hadn't seen much of Edwards prior to the Nate fight tbh...

But...
From that performance...
I definitely can not say he is 'boring'.

He gave an amazing all-round skills performance.
Solid punches, kicks, movement, ground game... super sharp.
