it should have.
Fedor vs Maldonado
Edgar vs maynard 2 round 1
Those are 10-7s. That was 10-9
You are insane. 10-7s are for when guys mount zero offense and are dropped multiple times. Hunt lost the round big but he didn't come close to going out
You lost this thread 10-7 though
You're right, it was a finish...lol
I've been thinking to myself all morning...Hunt must've seen this fight playing out exactly in this manner...why didn't he just stick to TD defense in his camp??? Hunt has been a win, or two, away from a championship fight for a couple of years now. Brock was not going to slug with him, or surprise him in any way, shape, or form! WHY???Seriously...
Lesnar mauled Hunt in that round.
Anyone else think that round was 10-7
Fedor - Fabio wasn't even a 10-7
Fedor mounted effective offense, dominated the 1st 25% of the round, busted Fabio's nose, cut his eye, before getting rocked. Even after he got rocked he had his moments in the round.
You can't get a 10-7 when your opponent also lands. 10-8? Yes. 10-7...no way in hell
They should, provided judges make ample and proper use of the robust yet underutilized scoring system.10-7 shouldn't even exist in a 3-5 round fight.
That's fair. Whether right or wrong, that fight is stopped 9/10. There were about 2 minutes of that round where stoppage was iminent. Edgar and Maynard is the only other time I can recall a round feeling like that and not being a finish.Fedor never went out (like he did for a split second against Hendo)
He then won the next 2 rounds.
After Fedor got rocked he immediately grabbed the back of Fabio's head to pull him in, tried grabbing/tying up his arm to help deflect punches, rolled, and got back to his feet. He never stopped trying to stay in the fight.
No one was hurt. A finish was never iminent. Hunt popped right up at the bell. This is not a 10-7. Clear 10-8, but nowhere close to 10-7.
Fedor vs. Maldonado was a 10-7

God the judges in that fight were braindead. This man clearly never saw Bader/Perosh
