Lesnar/Hunt round 3 was a 10-7 round

No because Brock landed about 50 shots when he was on Mark.

Those add up. Hunt was on his back the majority of the round. Im not a Brock fan but he did win that round pretty decisively.

Fedor was actually pushing the pace in RD 2 and 3 but eating counters so it was close... Hunt landed a few then wound up on his back mostly eating punches. He did land a good amount back and I don't think Brock did much damage to him but purely on points he threw and landed more than Hunt did from bottom.
Hence the 10-8, which is exactly what you described.

No because Hunt wasn't returning as many as Lesnar was throwing. I think they were mostly from very short distances and ineffective but he threw a ton. Overall it was like 125 to Hunt's 25 for the whole bout.

We've seen this in MMA. You can win on points just by tagging a guy.

And I thought Shogun nuthuggers were delusional. Brock fanboys are worse

Untitled.pngDamn can somebody ban this moron already? He's clearly asking for it making thread after thread of blowing Lesnar's knob.

You are dense. 10-8 is winning by domination. That round was 10-8.

Seriously...

Lesnar mauled Hunt in that round.

Anyone else think that round was 10-7
Thank you TS this will be the 3rd thread I've posted my opinion about this on... & yes Round 3 waz a 10 - 8 & possibly 10 - 7.

I can't believe some even questioned whether it be a 10-8... because IT WAZ near stoppage people.

Hunt's face didn't have a spot on it that wasn't purple from bruising & that all came from the 3rd round.

I can see a 10-8, but not a chance in hell of a 10-7. You need to refer back to that legendary Maynard/Edgar round for a true example of a 10-7.

If a 10-7 round is scored the fight was wrongfully allowed to continue. That never occurred in the Lesnar hunt fight. Yes hunt got beat up pretty bad in round 3 but it was not 10-7.

I don't believe there should ever be 10-7 rounds. A decisive round should be 10-9 and a dominant round should be 10-8.

It makes sense in boxing where there are 12 rounds, but winning a single round by 3 points is retarded in a sport with only 3 rounds.

It wasn't even a 10-8. I had that round a 10-9.

Fedor - maldonado was 10-7 though
Nah Fedor started the round off by assaulting Maldonado and backing him into the cage while peppering him with punches. 10-7 are almost never scored. And certainly not when the opponent has offensive output.

I had it 10-9.

Brock won but never had Hunt In trouble.

I need to re- watch it but I don't remember Brock even doing much in the way of significant damage. He maintained top position but never really let any heavy shots go save for maybe one little flurry which Hunt squirmed out of as I recall.

I wish MMA had half point. If it did Id say 10-8.5 but in current rules 10-9.

And I'm a Brock fan
