Its hard choice for me bur I almost prefer the classic simplicity and unobtrusiveness Lenne Hardt It actually wasnt that simple with the light and firework show.....the only thing I can liken it to is Mad Max Thunderdome on sterioids I actually went to a few pride events and those intros got my blood crawling in a good way .....she was so damn good

Bruce Buffer is great as well but is too egotistical for my tastes and I dont care for how uninvitedly ham hes become with the fist bumps and attention he often demands on the 'stage'

Her voice is cartoonish & is more suited for pro wrestling than hyping up a North American audience for a fist fight. You're definitely in the minority if you think they could replace Buffer for her without the vast majority of the audience rejecting it.

PRIDE had better walkouts, they weren't trying to fucking hide what they were unlike the UFC.
UFC acts like they're the best but its easy to be the fuckin best when there's only 2 other organizations out there.

They are simply a fuckin freak show like all the other freak shows.
If they weren't Colby wouldn't have gotten a title shot, nor would Stipe.
Putting a silk hat on a pig doesn't make it a stallion.

I dont think UFC was trying to hide anything, just following a tried and true formula. Besides, people here in the states are accustomed to guys just going into the ring and fighting.

I mean Mark Hunt got a title shot against Fedor coming off a loss to Josh Barnett. Shit happens. It's Prize fighting. They are all like that. So why would UFC "hide" anything by adopting the Boxing format? Boxing does the same shit, and is even more corrupt.

Yeah man.

I like her and all, but i def would rather keep the Buff, or any other traditional announcer over her.

There's a reason why PRIDE didnt use her in the role that Kei Grant had. Cos that wasnt even her job. It was Kei Grant's job.

Your arguments are only making my point brother.
They are all freak shows and the amount of money they generate makes no difference... they're still freak shows.... including UFC

You've lost the plot if you're calling all fights "freak shows". Would her voice fit in announcing other fights like Canelo vs Berlanga, Joshua vs Dubois etc? Not at all.

Her voice fits best with the real freak shows like Fedor vs Hong Man Choi lol.

I mean I dont think it matters the names of the people she's announcing. Its just the enviornment. That shit fits like a glove with PRIDE/K-1/Dream.

Average uninitiated american is gonna go yo WTF is that shit?? I think it would turn off new viewers. The kind of people that wind up never watching PRIDEFC and hating it cos they were dropped on their heads as kids.

I like what PRIDEFC did. When both were around, I enjoyed both presentations. I liked the contrasts and it was cool to have both. I liked the rawness of seeing the UFC fighters walking around in the back before coming out, and I liked the over the top paegentry of the PRIDEFC walkouts.

Its ok to like both, and to admit that what works for one doesnt always work for the other.

This next comment may piss off some old farts but here we go: The best Buffer at announcing is Bruce and it's not even close. Michael Buffer is absolutely terrible. He's made his life based on one line but outside that one line, his announcing ability is garbage. I remember thinking he was the best as a kid but looking back, he's not good.

Michael Buffer WAS incredible for a long time, but he's been phoning it in for a while now. He's old AF.

Bruce has lost none of his enthusiasm. If he physically could do a triple lutz stardust press in the ring before the fight, he would. That's what I love about him. He still loves to be there.
