I am in central Illinois and that is the going rate here as well.

I am really curious about what to expect from the legalization but this thread has contained a lot of conflicting info so far.

250 gets u shitty to average bud here. 300 os the lowest I have seen quality bud in Chicago. U can get some shit weed for 200 an need to smoke 2 bowls to feel a damn thing

That is most definitely not going to work for me. I wear plain, colored t-shirts and I don't do Facebook.

In Belgium (Europe) they have already some cannabis shops where they sell weed that has high CBD but very low THC. So you can smoke it and you will feel calm and it tastes a bit like real weed but you will not get high.
I don't know how it will be like that in you country but I suspect the same.
In Italy where I went on vacation it's the same thing.
In the Netherlands they sell real weed with serious THC that gets you high, but from now on they only sell it to Dutch people anymore I believe so you cannot buy it if you are foreign.

Bottomline, if it doesn't have much THC in it, there is not much point to it.

The first time I went to a clinic in Cali, it was one of the most surprisignly enjoyable things I've done; seeing all the glass shelves, professionaly displayed, fridge filled with drinks and goodies, tons of strains, waxes, vape pens, edibles, pills, dabs etc.

I see people complaining about the raise of prices, but I actually go to the clinics that are sitll considered 'black market" and they are exactly as I described above, best quality possible, and no taxes. There still plenty of clinics like that. This one particular place always has a lobby of people waiting to get in, and you can easily find it online or weedmaps, with plenty of reviews ans such. Not sure how it doesn't get shut down.

I get awesome broad spectrum CBD from a place in Oregon.
immensely helpful in relaxing and sleeping.
If I want to get high, it's not a problem.
I often do one after the other.

Same here. Get my CBD from this spot down the street. There's like 4 dispensaries within 3 miles of where I live.

Is 35% THC a lot? I have no idea what % of THC the stuff that I would come across illegally in recent years contained but it was always pretty damn strong. It has been quite awhile since I've smoked.

The shops that sells CBD-weed say on website it has less than 0,2% THC in it.
