Law enforcement is most obese profession - study

I am enjoying the idiocy of the basement dwellers here that have yet to work at a real job telling me how it is to be a cop. If it was so easy, why aren't you fucktards donning a badge and gun every day? Simple answer: You guys are punks. Bitch-ass punks that want your Bernie entitlements, Obama phones, or other gov't handout for doing nothing while real men and women that wear a uniform are busy shooting you full of Narcan, or saving your ass from the other stupid situations you put yourself in.

When you put security guards in there with officers it sort of skews the results in a negative manner. My friend who is obese cannot pass the physical to be a police officer, he is a security guard.

And they aren't "law enforcement." Last I checked, neither were firemen.....

Or they just despise people abusing their authority. It's not anything new with the advent of cell phone cameras, but the rate that it happens is approaching a crescendo for the public very quickly.

The best thing that could ever happen to the LEO community would be privatization. Not only would the shitbird LEOs get selected out, but the ones that are able to stay in that job would be paid much better.

Privatization does NOT work. The examples that you are probably going to list are not stand-alone private police forces. In fact, they will be backed up by legitimate law enforcement. One of my self-proclaimed anarchist "friends" often posts shit about "private" police. Time and again, I show him that there is no viable private police force. They are simply security guards that work within the jurisdiction of legitimate PDs.

Privatization is one of the buzzwords that makes no sense when it comes to public safety. How about that pay-to-play fire department that let a house burn because the anarchist decided not to pay for a service he didn't need? Does that satisfy the public safety requirement? Nope.

Bottom line is that some services can only be provided by government. Public safety is such a service. I'm not even going to get into the illegitimacy of a private PD. They would hold the same weight and authority as your average SJW.

LOL you literally ranted about big Gubmnt Bernie and Obama and in the latter got super scared at the possibility of privatization of the police force.

What a fucking joke poster.

This is one of those completely obvious threads that pretty much everyone already knew anyway. Cops are big disgusting fat asses. End of story.

I don't think you figured out that bloated government is the "add-on" agencies, not the necessary ones. DHS, TSA, BLM, etc . Those are the bloat, not local law enforcement. Furthermore, local LE is based upon the needs and desires of the LOCAL population, not the federal gov't. Try again, troll harder.

I was going to reply sooner but I had to wait for my typing wand to be shipped.

Absence of evidence isn't evidence of absence. Moreover, the reasons why you don't have private law enforcement are because governments don't want to relinquish that control. If law enforcement is private the government can't institute CAF or drug laws that overtly fly in the face of individual rights. Its a massive strait jacket on government's power. That's why we never see it, and also why we see such a heavy push by government's in sectors like healthcare.

In fact, when you look at the problem objectively the only ones that are benefiting from the system as it is now are the shirtbird cops and corrupt politicians. Privatization moves both those out of the way. As an added kicker, just by virtue of the difficulty of the job, you could reasonably expect your compensation rates to boom for the upstanding LEOs. In that respect, the ones that are the most stalwart about not having a job where they're held accountable predictably also have the most to hide.

I doubt many local populations want their local PDs patrolling down the street in MRAPs, lvl IV plates, and fully automatic ARs.

LOL as is LE wasnt bloated, take away the war on drugs, whose justification is based on federal laws and LE becomes near useless.

Most of the duties of cops can be easily given to private entities.

Good thing they aren't then.

I assume this was in response to the above post. No, you're right. They don't regularly. It does happen on non-emergency calls however. As the saying goes, you don't boil a frog by throwing it in when the water's already hot. You put it in and warm it slowly.

Well yeah, they use them when needed like in San Bernardino recently. As the saying goes, better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Because drugs are the root of all crimes? Come on man, you can't be that naive.

I have no problems with their deployment on QRF type responses like in SB. But they're of course not limited to that. As the saying goes, when you have a hammer everything looks like a nail.

Its convenient because the drug laws are also responsible for most crimes committed by police.... imagine that.

Shenanigans. Give me proof.

How else do they expect the illegal money was earned? This is abashedly clear tyranny when the government steals more money from you than thieves outside of taxes.
