Sanko is good at the job and her critics can go kick rocks.

Sanko seems to be fairly intelligent, she just doesn't have the level of experience, knowledge, or even broadcast talent (i.e. she will never work outside of the MMA media world) that is typically required for the job.

As bad as DC and Bisping are, they were UFC champions. There is a level of insight they can give that is valuable.

You don't have to be a world championship athlete to be a good commentator. That shit is for the desk where they break down fights and stuff.

Ya but you should be good at SOMETHING to be a good commentator.

DC and Bisping are shit on the mic but at least they bring notoriety and cage experience to the table. They can convey certain aspects of the fight game like no one else because they have experienced it firsthand.

Laura isn’t even good on the mic. She didn’t go to school for this. Her broadcast voice isn’t special, she isn’t funny, insightful, or entertaining. She has zero crossover appeal. No network/sport is going to see her UFC performance and say “hey let’s get her to host (insert sport) show”. Her only qualification is “a female that is reasonably attractive and has had an MMA fight”.
